West has always had that leg up step back

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:08 (twelve years ago)

not like that?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:08 (twelve years ago)

Idk I remember him doing that but maybe it's just the dirkification of the league

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:09 (twelve years ago)

it's the dead middle of the season for a back to back championship team who knows they won't play a truly meaningful game until june

i was actually thinking recently about how the clock is gonna strike midnight on the heat at any moment, like the big three all look incredible but their role players are all so bad and/or old

― k3vin k., Saturday, December 14, 2013 8:42 PM (1 month ago)

still think this post is otm. battier, allen, lewis, haslem are all corpses at this point. norris cole is probably their 4th best player
--k3vin k.

we're in the dead middle of the season for a team that knows it won't play a meaningful game until the east finals... this is probably the absolute worst part of the season to be trying to draw any conclusions.

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:11 (twelve years ago)

mark jackson timeouts drive me crazy:

"somebody gotta wake up"
"this is not championship material"

moullet, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:12 (twelve years ago)

all their role players looked washed up last year too and then ray and battier won them the title so we'll see

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:13 (twelve years ago)

jordan what part of the season are we in i didn't catch that

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:14 (twelve years ago)

dude come on things do not look good now, you can't keep counting on that magic, at some point they need to look like a real team

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:15 (twelve years ago)

again i will wait until wade is back at full strength to make a more complete judgment

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:15 (twelve years ago)

until recently they were playing vv well in games when all big three started

lag∞n, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:16 (twelve years ago)

what magic? the magic of trying?

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:16 (twelve years ago)

Lleeeee

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:17 (twelve years ago)

no back-to-backs in the playoffs is i think crucial for miami

Clay, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:19 (twelve years ago)

i like lees quick catches into moves

lag∞n, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:20 (twelve years ago)

What is happening so many non calls both sides

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:20 (twelve years ago)

what magic? the magic of trying?

― le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, January 21, 2014 12:16 AM (1 minute ago)

i just mean that holding out on faith that things will all magically fall into place in a few months seems risky. not that it can't happen, obv the big 3 are all amazing, and assuming this is just a little defensive blip, they still have spo and their system. but it's the kind of thing you don't want to keep on counting on

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:21 (twelve years ago)

Lee has been awesome over the last month

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:21 (twelve years ago)

you could make an easy argument that the pacers are the favorites to come out of the east but that's because they have reached juggernaut status and not because a shell of the heat's team is giving up 121 points on their third game in 4 nights during a 6 game road trip in january

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:23 (twelve years ago)

i mean the heat won 27 games in a row or whatever last season and it ended up meaning what exactly?

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:24 (twelve years ago)

home court in east conf finals/nba finals for one thing

Clay, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:26 (twelve years ago)

it also seemed to indicate that they were good

k3vin k., Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:26 (twelve years ago)

east was tougher last year, too

Clay, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:27 (twelve years ago)

and yet they looked as crappy in the playoffs as ever and needed a miracle to win the title

it's almost as if the regular season... didn't matter

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:28 (twelve years ago)

someone who watches 500 nba games in a season might *want* to believe that the back to back champions' mid january game at the end of a 6 game road trip is meaningful but........

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:30 (twelve years ago)

the home court thing is valid & they might regret not going hard at that

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:31 (twelve years ago)

warriors doing some good stuff

lag∞n, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:34 (twelve years ago)

Defense picked up.

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:38 (twelve years ago)

hope warriors fans can get used to jordan crawford spinning runners as steph curry calls for the ball

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:43 (twelve years ago)

Not a fan of dude so far

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:43 (twelve years ago)

Reffing is so bad both ways

Spottie, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:44 (twelve years ago)

need to read brad stevens ebook "how to mindfuck jordan crawford"

lag∞n, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:46 (twelve years ago)

crawford will average 40+ a game for the shanghai sharks in his late 20's

Clay, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 05:50 (twelve years ago)
