i used to be a wade hater in pretty much all facets but i agree now that his game is actually fun to watch

i always loved wades elegance hes just so smooth, the taking defensive possessions off to confer with the refs not so much

let the record state i was the original steph fan back when he had a last name, also i got what i wanted and hated it

i, for one, am glad to have goon back on board with the warriors being the funnest team in the league. i could probably find like 80 posts about him hating on Kyrie to counter his current addition to this thread as well.

ha i dont think ive devoted too much time to hating kyrie, and while ive been enjoying his time in boston for the record he def constantly does some horrible things that im hoping he can mostly ween himself off, like standing there dribbling without even making a move then just shooting a contested three as the shot clock sounds, overall he really hasnt been that good so far tbh, but he also does like five unreal things every game that are just really entertaining, watching him dribble is so cool lol hes not like other players

yeah his dribbles are madness. im finally willing to concede the best in the league crown from curry to him.

Kyrie definitely has flaws but he is so damn fun to watch, his handles and some of the shots that he pulls off are just absolutely beautiful. Cavs are significantly less fun so far and I blame dudes like Derrick Rose but most of it is because Kyrie is gone

everything he does has a unique kyrieness to it like hell hold the ball a fraction of a beat longer than normal on a shot and then it just pops out and splashes the bottom of the net

also something abt the way he moves constantly untucks his jersey

yeahi hear you. i was kinda excited when they were losing this year cos they had some fun close games.

kyrie has been an interesting case study this year in at least as far as the stats/eye test divide goes, seems like he’s very comfortable being the primary guy and people are really fixating on his positive attributes, yet his numbers are more or less the same iirc. otoh the celtics are winning and sources say he’s trying on defense, so maybe there is something going on there

his raw boxscore numbers are actually down i think

his numbers are worse! (cause hes not hitting his 3s) but defensive effort is def way better

i wld say he looked wildly uncomfortable in his role to start the season but has started to find his groove as wld be expected w adjusting to a new team/system but isnt nearly totally integrated yet, still has tons of awful offensive possessions mostly to do w playing way too much iso, he waves off screens all the time which seems dumb to me just use the screen its easier, and hes been great in the pnr

walks the ball up the court too much burns clock w pointless dribbling etc

tho sometimes he does that let the ball roll all the way up the court before touching it thing to save the shot clock thing which is p cool, theres really no reason just to use it on a short clock i mean picking the ball up past half court with a full 24 is a pretty huge advantage

i used to love watching peak-era D-Rose but i'm pretty sure he's in the top 3 most painful NBA players to watch now.
