― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:44 (thirteen years ago)

― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:45 (thirteen years ago)
if you had just randomly turned the game on right after the injury w/o knowing what went on you would have thought someone died on the court
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:47 (thirteen years ago)
Just got to bar and concerned friend asked if someone died
― that Django got me Nuages (Sufjan Grafton), Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:49 (thirteen years ago)

― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:51 (thirteen years ago)
i turned it on and just saw three louisville players crouching/laying down with nobody around them, it was unreal
― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:52 (thirteen years ago)
yeah i thought initially that there was some crazy three-way collision or something and everyone was concussed
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:52 (thirteen years ago)
I didn't see it and I don't want to. Can someone please explain. Broken leg? On his own or collision?
― that Django got me Nuages (Sufjan Grafton), Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:53 (thirteen years ago)
so i dunno about ncaa politics but whos gonna pay for that kids medical bills. whos going to pay for that.
― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:53 (thirteen years ago)

― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:54 (thirteen years ago)

― J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:55 (thirteen years ago)

― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:55 (thirteen years ago)
Yikes
― that Django got me Nuages (Sufjan Grafton), Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:55 (thirteen years ago)
theres a simspons gag where the field goal kickers leg flies off when he kicks the goal. it was almost like a cartoon
― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:56 (thirteen years ago)
i'm sure louisville will pay for his medical coverage, but not his loss of potential future earnings
― mookieproof, Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:56 (thirteen years ago)
he's going to walk again. but yeah it was gruesome. i think his tibia snapped in half
― k3vin k., Sunday, 31 March 2013 21:56 (thirteen years ago)

russ smith is unreal in the fastbreak
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 March 2013 22:45 (thirteen years ago)
the funny thing about russ smith is that he reminds me of JR smith, so i googled him a couple months ago assuming he was his brother or something. turns out he is not related to JR, BUT, JR's brother did play for louisville last year
― k3vin k., Sunday, 31 March 2013 22:47 (thirteen years ago)
Didn't see the injury... Can anyone vouch for it being more or less gruesome than the Shaun Livingston one?
― Spottie_Ottie_Dope, Sunday, 31 March 2013 22:47 (thirteen years ago)
worse
― 乒乓, Sunday, 31 March 2013 22:48 (thirteen years ago)

spottie:
“His bone was sticking out of his shin,” said Richard Pitino, Florida International’s head coach and former U of L assistant who recruited Ware for the Cards and was sitting about 25 feet from where injury happened. “I’m only 30, but I’ve never seen something like that. It felt like cancelling the game. You feel almost silly cheering (after that).”
The ugly scene unfolded right in front of the Cardinals’ bench and was too much for assistant coach Wyking Jones to handle. He jumped up from his seat and sprinted away from the carnage shouting, “Oh, God, no!” Teammate Wayne Blackshear, at first unaware of the injury, inbounded the ball and then looked over to see Ware writhing in pain and his leg dangling.
Blackshear dropped to his knees on the court with a horrified look on his face. Forward Chane Behanan sat on the bench and sobbed.
