yeah legit might be a stretch. but they could def be running with houston/utah/portland/LA right now if healthy

they looked pretty good when they had 3 or so of their top 5 operating and healthy, but sadly the brandon roy thing was just a mistake

mostly counterbalanced by the kirilenko renaissance but anyway i think they would have been in that lower-half western mix for sure

iirc, the conventional wisdom at the start of this season was that portland was crammed with rookies and castoffs, was keeping its cap space for future rebuilding, and was a 25-30 win team.

i'm tepidly willing to bet that austin rivers will have a better age-22 season than vesely is having right now (kill me)

tskitishvili had a career PER of 5.2, holy crap

yeah no player as bad as tskitishvili ever had as much usage, it was a really unusual situation

austin rivers' trajectory of usage + production definitely puts on him pace to be worse than tskitishvili tho

remember when Tskitishvili won like 3 Summer League MVPs

he was actually pretty middling in his final season as opposed to historically bad (at least offensively) but i guess everyone had seen enough
