harden drives a ton, gets fouled a bunch, makes a bunch of shots, hes prob p good at finishing in traffic i think is a safe assumption, not wade/bron type levels but pretty good

is the argument that Harden having the 19th best FG% at the rim among SGs doesn't matter because he has a lot of attempts based on sample size? Or does the larger number of attempts imply tougher shots?

the later, you can pick yr spots w/one attempt a game

the larger number of attempts means driving to the basket is an integral part of his game. SGs with few attempts most likely get them on breaks and the like and do not regularly try to finish in traffic.

harden imho fwiw more generally is trying to do a lil too much this year, leading the league in turnovers, 3pt% is way down

well I didn't say he was an awful finisher

but if he couldn't draw fouls at the drop of a hat it would probably be significantly lower than 66%

idk like wade draws a lot of fouls too, its a pretty integral part of any big time slashers game

other than his pumpfakes wade mostly gets fouled because he's a force of nature, it's not craftiness like Roy/Harden/Martin

Wade gets fouled because he's a great finisher and it's the only way to stop him from dunking on you, Martin/Roy/Harden get fouled because they want to get to the line and they trick you into doing something stupid.

harden has a LOT of manu in his game but i feel like manu is way craftier as a finisher, i mean i don't think i've ever seen harden even attempt a reverse layup
