Ok yeah he had a (third) microfracture surgery and arthroscopic surgery on his other knee in feb 2012.

Clay, Friday, 11 January 2013 00:18 (thirteen years ago)

Well Rivers isn't exactly gonna come out and say that KG was spitting hot game.

tsrobodo, Friday, 11 January 2013 00:21 (thirteen years ago)

vintage eastern conference game breaking out here

questionable motor (agent hibachi), Friday, 11 January 2013 01:53 (thirteen years ago)

durant's also upped his other stats, too

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 January 2013 02:00 (thirteen years ago)

damn JR that was a little harsh

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:01 (thirteen years ago)

Fuuuuuck Lance is one of the fastest dribblers in the league. Dude flys downcourt w/ the ball.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Friday, 11 January 2013 02:02 (thirteen years ago)

Lance's court vision is rad too

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:03 (thirteen years ago)

they should just make granger the sixth man when he gets back

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:04 (thirteen years ago)

Pacers are 10-0 when Hibbert manages a double double.

tsrobodo, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:05 (thirteen years ago)

So if they actually got what they thought they were buying with his ridiculous contract they'd probably be contenders.

tsrobodo, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:05 (thirteen years ago)

ya a lot of their early season troubles seemed to be p well correlated to hibbert sucking so bad

lag∞n, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:07 (thirteen years ago)

... Heh, after spending all this time banging on about Lance, nice to see him finally getting closer looks from statheads / happy that stats are bearing out what I'm seeing. My heart of hearts wants Granger to come back 100% and used as a 6th man so the bench has some scoring opportunities. They're a really strong defensive unit, but unless Tyler does a good job Tylering up the game, there are zero scorers. Lance's talents are lost on them; Paul George can have disastrous games when it falls on him and him only to score. But, Granger would fit in nicely w/ that 2nd unit and give them the jump-shooter they need. Of course, this would absolutely never happen, unless Vogel cloaks the decision as an easing-in of Granger back to playing.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Friday, 11 January 2013 02:07 (thirteen years ago)

yeah you were otm about the starter/bench thing with lance's passing

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:09 (thirteen years ago)

Hibbert has been playing with an injured right hand since the beginning of the season, which is why he's shooting so many left-hand baby-hooks this year. Dude is still basically 10/10 with almost 3 blocks a game, we'll take it.

And yeah, Lance has LeBron-level wrist strength, so he's able to kinda zip passes at odd points in his dribble. Sadly, none of his feeds have gone to West/George/Hill/Hibbert tonight, though.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Friday, 11 January 2013 02:10 (thirteen years ago)

I didn't realize until now that Bird gave Lance Stephenson one of those 4 year minimum deals that you can give second roudners, great move.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:13 (thirteen years ago)

I really wish gms used that move more often.

Clay, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:14 (thirteen years ago)

Fair enough, just seems they're a few pieces away from being genuine contenders in the east and he's a little sus.

tsrobodo, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:20 (thirteen years ago)

Wow, I'm actually sitting here feeling sorry for JR

tsrobodo, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:21 (thirteen years ago)

Beckley Mason ‏@BeckleyMason
Tonight, JR Smith is the Knicks' best creator, guarding the other team's best player and finding out what it's like to be a bad team's star.

Ian Levy ‏@HickoryHigh
@BeckleyMason At this moment Kyrie Irving is penning a lovely hand-written note for him

lag∞n, Friday, 11 January 2013 02:38 (thirteen years ago)

moullet, Friday, 11 January 2013 06:13 (thirteen years ago)

god, ray allen is so bad at defense. it's ridiculous. he has to be one of the worst perimeter defenders in the league.

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 January 2013 06:14 (thirteen years ago)

yo wes matthews

Clay, Friday, 11 January 2013 06:18 (thirteen years ago)

weird numbers department:

10-11, batum averaged 1.5 assists.
11-12, batum averaged 1.4 assists.
12-13, batum averaging 4.5 assists - second to lebron among all non-guards.

he's really become a great distributor.

Clay, Friday, 11 January 2013 06:45 (thirteen years ago)

lebron's streak of 54 straight games with 20+ points ended tonight too.

Clay, Friday, 11 January 2013 06:48 (thirteen years ago)

Tim Reynolds ‏@ByTimReynolds
More LeBron: 29th time in his career (including playoffs) he's been either exactly one rebound or one assist from a triple-double.

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 January 2013 06:53 (thirteen years ago)

looks like it's annual "bron slumps and everyone wonders if KD is better time"

fiscal cliff paul (k3vin k.), Friday, 11 January 2013 14:03 (thirteen years ago)

Obviously, when it comes to triple-doubles, LeBron just can't finish, amirite

Aimless, Friday, 11 January 2013 18:48 (thirteen years ago)
