Kings/Royals are both dope names, but both are obviously cursed. Sucks because Seattle Kings / Seattle Royals both sound dope imo. They should at least burn all Kings-related graphic design predating 1990; former logo + unis were great.

Seattle will be the Sonics. OKC ownership required to relinquish trademark to the name if Seattle got another team. All the trophies and such are still in Seattle, too.

I just hope OKC decides to relinquish all claims to the history and accomplishments; with that team, they're forging a history to be proud of there in Oklahoma.

Royals won a world series though. Few things compare to what has happened to the Kings. Those fans have to live with game 6 and their franchise withering and leaving.
