Ferry's been around long enough to know that you send it to the league office, not the refs at the particular game. The only plausible explanation is that he was complaining about the no-call.

The idea that he breached the rules and confronted the refs personally just to force a response from the league office that very marginally impacts his team's playoff seeding is grassy knoll shit imo.
