Kinda torn about Avery Johnson; have never really paid attention to his X/Os, but dude won a ton of games early in his career & has a Coach of the Year under his belt. Unless those first years were a total fluke, it's not like you all the sudden become a bad coach. Couple that w/ Deron already pushing out a HoF coach and it's kinda tough to believe that Avery was the big problem.

The players like Dwight need someone who is smiley, affable, and could saunter over to Dwight during practice and whisper, "You know I could kill you with my bare hands, right? Just wanted to make that clear." Feel like he did that w/ Timmy his rookie season and he's still too shook not to play hard.

But a source told ESPN that Jackson would indeed entertain an approach from Brooklyn and that his flirtation with the Lakers after Mike Brown's dismissal five games into the season got him "thinking about coaching again."
