I took advantage of the free nba league pass last night to watch about a third of the 2OT brooklyn win over detroit. man, oh, man was that some ugly balling. both teams seemed dominated by big, muscly, athletic guys who play very hard and don't get much accomplished. kris humphries was especially underwhelming. neither team was able to spread the floor or create space. there was just too much muscle mass out there for any space to open up.
btw, avery johnson has the look of a guy who's in over his head and deals with it by making a face like he is concentrating intensely every second, like evil-eye fleegle throwing a triple whammy in lil abner.
