joel defner out

questionable motor (agent hibachi), Friday, 14 December 2012 16:21 (thirteen years ago)

i cant get on a knicks bandwagon for moral reasons but as a hoop observer they actually seem like a well constructed team, obviously they are way worse than their current record but they are doing some real smart things. all you had to do was watch the last two olympics to see what melo at the 4 can do

obviously amare will fuck it up and the ancient big men on the bench are trash but kidd's random ascension to deadeye sharpshooter is hilarious and awesome

questionable motor (agent hibachi), Friday, 14 December 2012 16:25 (thirteen years ago)

wondering what the placement of kidd, terry, and billups at 3, 4, 5 of the all-time 3 pointers made list says about the 3 point specialist in the NBA

乒乓, Friday, 14 December 2012 16:45 (thirteen years ago)

what does it say?

Andrew WKRP (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Friday, 14 December 2012 16:46 (thirteen years ago)

still wondering ; )

it's just a weird list, lots of ppl u wouldn't expect to be on it

乒乓, Friday, 14 December 2012 16:47 (thirteen years ago)

it doesn't mean anything except that you're looking at a list heavily slanted towards longevity as opposed to a very specific skill

and well rounded players tend to survive longer

lag∞n, Friday, 14 December 2012 16:53 (thirteen years ago)

Following in the footsteps of his coach at North Carolina and mentor, Dean Smith, former Sonics Coach George Karl always tracked plus-minus data during his time in Seattle, receiving a report on how his players rated after each game.

"It's the No. 1 stat I believe in," Karl once told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
