He called him Lurch. I think if he had read Of Mice And Men he would have called him Lennie.

meyers leonard is big goofy kid who's about 1.5 seasons away from being a strong contributor on the floor, so as long as tommy's not too cruel, then he's not too far off base to make fun of him. the kid still gets lost on defense about one out of six trips down.

well, if they win, there will be no suspense, if they blow it, you will be angry you watched.

meyers has the tools and raw ability, plus he applies himself and works like the devil, so he's learning the position about as fast as he can. he's def not thabeet redivivus. his minutes are directly tied to how inexperienced the blazer bench is, tho.

courtney lee is playing a really nice game despite unexciting stats

Leonard's stats are really good too; he doesn't turn it over he shoots a good percentage and he blocks shots, all you can ask for at this point really

I've been posting the team's bench points numbers when I remember or when it jumps out at me. I was def at a game where the first bench score came halfway through the third. It's woeful.

In other news these teams' unis really getting me in the spirit of the season.

I'm going to try leaving the game on but muted. I'm sure it'll crash my computer eventually but until then I can keep an eye on one thing and an ear on the other.

the thing that's been driving me crazy--i know all sorts of stuff goes into making the schedule and it's probably really hard--but maybe don't schedule big national tv games to be the 4th game in 5 nights for anyone!

some of that is probably a function of only putting 10 or 11 games on national TV ever
