Is there any statistical validity to the notion that some players are more injury prone than others? Or is this just a commonly misguided opinion?

There is some validity to it, but the correlation isn't nearly as high as a lot of people suspect. Unless there's a real, known defect, I wouldn't worry too much about past injury history as a predictor of future problems.

He's really improved this year, according to the numbers at least.

i kinda thought he was stealth solid last year too - dreadful shooting numbers but filled the scoresheet in other ways. and he took care of the ball in a way that's uncommon for rookies, especially for aPG who was a combo guard in college
