watched the rockets/hawks last night. so jealous of houston for landing harden. the hawks have tons of cap space next year and i was praying we'd go after him. i could see the hawks setting some record for giving up offensive rebounds this season. they're going to be playing two pgs and a sg at the small fwd position all season. could get ugly. interesting that the bobcats are using the full court press bc the hawks did that some last night and could do well with that given they'l have so much quickness on the court.

also, fyi, josh smith is still a dipshit but lou williams looked great.

How can Xanax / anti-anxiety pharms be banned?! Can't find the drug policy rules online. Tough to imagine that players can't take certain pharms if prescribed by Drs. I ~kinda~ understand amphetamines being banned, but it's not like pillin up on bars before a game could be considered any kind of PED situation.

Also Google coming up w/ precious few articles/posts about this stuff. Surprised Grantland/Slate/SI/whoever hasn't written some 10K piece on this.

Only out for a week, although olddude bones might need a little extra time. Lucky the lolakers didn't do something like spend all their money on the starting five and have a really strong bench.

I was doing some idle NBA-Ref browsing this morning ... there's a good chance that like five or six vets with 15+ seasons could be scoring 15+ppg this year. Usually only have one every year or two. Of course, Nash was on that list, tho.

Forgot the League Pass protip I learned last year: if you're watching a live game but watching the video with any lag whatsoever, DO NOT FUCK WITH THE PLAYBACK POSITION AT ALL IF THE GAME HAS ENDED. Was probably five minutes behind in the Pacers/Cats game, fucked with the playback position with 0:13 left in the 4th quarter, then watched League Pass spend a few hours archiving the game, which you can't view while archiving. On bright side, got to avoid the DJ Augustin corner-3 clanking.
