Big Country looked the part, but was actually a decent player until his back gave out.

Vlade edges Seikaly as the best player mentioned here. Neither are anywhere close to a stiff.

three decent seasons does not a non-stiff make. back troubles only underscore his stiffness.

there were some dark, dark, years where psycho roberts was the sole shining light on some mediocre c's squads. they weren't terrible, they weren't good, they were just kind of there.

He was a career 5 points/5 boards guy and a legit seven-footer. He was the protype.

Sven Nater almost fit this category, but was just a bit too good to earn the title "big stiff". Gheorghe Muresan, otoh, fits it like a hand in a glove.

Bowie never had an NBA career worth speaking of, but he was a nice person, a hard worker, and did have something to show on court. Too bad his knees never made the transition to the pros.
