i think that specific rebuilding plan is 2012 = only 25 mil in salary committed or w/e, rondo in his prime, pierce probably still effective enough as old man playing old man game = perfect free agent trap, a pre-made alpha dog slot wide open with a championship coach in a town that will love you

i mean im sure they have a dossier with plan a = max contract for dwight or something but i dont think it can be much more specific than that yet. im sure more specifics were told to doc like who is gonna get resigned and/or traded too

yeah i'm unclear on how they'll be worse.

they have a not insignificant chance to lose more games than they did last year is all I'm saying. as just one example they don't have 3 gimme wins against the cavs like they did last year. which is not quiiiiiite the same thing as playing worse by default, I suppose. are you all expecting them to be better? or exactly the same?

and for the record I live here and would love to see them do better. I simply despair.

theyre going to have rondo back for one at least until he gets traded, rondo-bradley-smart shd be the best defensive backcourt in the league, this will be their second year with m/l the same team/same coach so that shd benefit them some, and theyve looked better in the preseason imo just more together, obvs theyre not gonna be good but i cld def see them surprising people w their competency

sully I'm actually not that worried about. rondo will def be playing to impress suitors so that will help (I think if he goes to the knicks it's just as a rental). the backcourt is defensively strong though idk about it overall vs. certain others in the east, namely a certain dougie-ing fellow and Bradley beal

sully is good now it just drives me crazy how getting in shape wld take his game to the next level and hes not doing it

everyone is talking about the weight loss which is a good improvement, but the jump looks like he changed it a lot and it looks like a realistic nba shot, he used to bring the ball too far back and his whole form just seemed really uncoordinated, it looks fluid now and hes cocking the ball further forward

if he cld become a reasonable shooter that wld be huge
