Fire Pro's great, but I'd rather see an update of the engine used in those THQ / AKI wrestling games for the N64. And one that featured actual wrestlers and not Ludacris. Or shit, maybe wrestlers AND Ludacris, that'd be pretty awesome.

I dunno I think Def Jam Vendetta had it's charm
then they made that shitty sequel where grappling became pointless god damn
― AJ Styles, Monday, 12 May 2008 16:04 (thirteen years ago) link
yeah, but wouldn't you rather be AJ Styles than Joe Budden?

I wouldn't mind seeing a new Jet Set Radio game!
At the risk of sounding too NMA, I'd like to see a proper fallout sequel :/
speaking of PROPER sequels, a real Chrono Trigger sequel would thrill me
Gradius V as so good that I think Gradius VI would be brilliant
I can't think of anything else right now.
― Will M., Monday, 12 May 2008 18:12 (thirteen years ago) link
Will I was just about to post Jet Set Radio.
Also I want a WiiWare Thrust clone

fucking suikoden is amazing. I remember that suikoden 1 totally rekindled my love of the rpg. Hunting down new guys to join my castle and them opening new shops and shit. And then, and then, they'd open up shops and stuff and i could use them to do multi-people spells. I hated that i had to use the elven guy to run really fast but apart from that the game totally owned my soul.
I hate you czn.

OK... so here's the BIGGER news. We're the largest Fire Pro community in the world. Period.Spike and GHM realize this. They want our input, and I've been chosen as the represenative. This forum is for everyone to post their wish lists and desires for FIRE PRO WRESLTING HD.I have a week to pick out the 10 best ideas (or most requested) and send them to my contacts at GHM and S-Neo. Make sure you understand what is already confirmed so you don't go requesting stuff that you don't need to. If you make a stupid request, I may be forced to skip your entire post. I don't have time to waste on ridiculous ideas. This shit is SERIOUS.
Let's get to work.

In other wrestling game news, I downloaded Legends of Wrestlemania and it's one of hte most atrocious games I think I've ever played. Worse than Royal Rumble on the SNES.

"Prepare to have your hearts broken.
It's time to hear the cold, hard truth.
I'm going to break this down in the best way possible, but I don't expect anyone to cut me any slack here. I knew what I was getting myself into, and I've been prepared for the consequences for quite some time.
Truth: There is no such thing as Fire Pro Wrestling HD and there is no such thing as the Fire Pro Wrestling 20th Anniversary Collection.
Now let that sink in for a second and get angry about it.
Here's another truth: I HAVE been in contact with some former Fire Pro Wrestling developers.
Now let that sink in for a second and ask yourself why I would make up such a story.
Here's the final and saddest truth: According to my contacts, Spike has no plans to ever make another wrestling game ever again. Period. That's it. It's over. No more Fire Pro. No more KOC. No more Blazing Tornado. No more Iron Slam. Kaput. Finished. THE END. The deep six. etc. etc."
