it really depends on what you're into. i bought chip's challenge 1&2 for a dollar.

Yeah there's too many
I have so far bought:Objects in Space - typical space trade/buy type game using lots of terminal type interfaces to interact with ship functions and port computers. Like it a lot so far.
3030 Deathwar Redux - 2d retro version of the above, nice ship combat though
Ultima Martian Dreams (free on GOG) - Ultima VI engine based/Mars version
I'm tempted with Watchdogs 2, it's standing now at 67% off !

been trying this year not to add to the infinite backlog, but i kinda like that Unity bundle and having a bunch of assets I will never, ever use as I have no idea how to program Unity
but Shadows of the Shogun and Torment look good, so fly away $15...
― Nhex, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 09:24 (five years ago) link
I think Unity's pretty easy to learn! (at least, like, comparable to Unreal, I think?)

LootCrate started their own Humble Monthly Bundle competitor, LootPlay. Same idea - one title revealed, the remaining games are a mystery.https://www.lootcrate.com/crates/loot-play

very easy to get some basic stuff going but you need to know c# for collision/events etc

I knew Hyper Light Drifter was an inevitable inclusion - currently in tier 3 of this year's Day of the Devs bundle at a reasonable $12 (with Minit!)

Catherine just released on Steam, although it's "Catherine Classic" meaning it's prob the same game as on PS3 and 360, but Atlus is soon releasing an expanded one for PS4 (and PS Vita apparently?! Lol) so might just be worth waiting for that. Still, if it's a game yr interested in and yr on PC only, there you go!
Also apparently Ubi has jumped ship from Steam to Epic Games launcher/store thing?
― suggest boban (Will M.), Thursday, 10 January 2019 17:04 (five years ago) link
i thought ubi already had their own launcher

haven't paid for a bundle in a while but the strategy one looks good -- i've wanted to grab stellaris for a while and niche looks interesting too

Worth going up $5 to get CLANNAD from the current Humble Hot Date bundle?
― Nhex, Tuesday, 9 April 2019 01:44 (five years ago) link
Welp I forgot to buy that
Anyway, I was a big fan of One Finger Death Punch. The sequel came out a few days ago and was immediately bundled for less than the retail price.

it's p. old and no idea if it's any good (there is one favourable ILX comment from a billion years ago) but I was pissed off to check my email just too late to claim the last free game, so, thought I'd mention this

Steam autumn sale is up, probably the most interesting thing is that weird Steam controller which they are discontinuing and so now selling for £4/$5 plus shipping.

there's a better than usual sale on google play (the android store) too. Lots of board games adaptations.

I could never get the hang of the Steam controller, I even offered it for free to a friend who refused it. I guess I'll keep if for historic reasons now then.
picked up Tron 2.0 for a couple of quid, other than that nothing on my wishlist at any decent discount. Might have a browse tonight though.
