i played tmnt: the arcade game on nes about 1,005 times.

I'm talking about the original TMNT NES game, the arcade game obviously ruled.

i only remember playing the NES game at one particular friend's house when in junior school to be fair. i dunno, though, i think the fact that it was punishingly hard kind of makes people forget that it was in fact not a bad or tossed-off design

The disarming-bombs-in-the-lake level of tmnt really wasn't all that hard. It was the NEXT level with the party wagon and the meka turtle that really fucked my shit up.

Yeah, the one that scarred ppl is the NES game. That was just ludicrously difficult.

xpost yes, that damn level where you had to drive around the city, crawl in the sewers etc. was pure torture... still, it'll be remembered with some nostalgic fondness regardless

I've played either halfway through or all the way to the end but never finished Chrono Trigger, FFVII, FFIX, FFX, FFXII

Bethesda's Oblivion and Fallout 3 have suggested that I am OCD. (In fallout 3 I picked up everything and kept it in a locker. I have over 1000 bent tin cans for sure). I'm cleaning the apocalypse :) Actually I think I planned on selling everything in the locker once my barter got to 100... I basically never buy or sell anything until my barter is 100 or mercantile for oblivion.)
