Everything (it's a game)

I am intrigued to try a game where a review can contain the following paragraph:

The dead things around me speak of their hollowness, the mistakes they made while in the other place, their regrets. I remember to try to be a better person. I become a shoe.

I dunno. The review is very evocative but I suspect it'd wind up being a bit underwhelming. Or maybe I'm just burnt out on 'atmosphere' games for the moment.

My thoughts pretty much (except I'm hardly burnt out after playing approximately one game per year at the moment). As an interactive powers of ten kind of experience it does look cool though.

This looks like Katamari without the screaming, the awesome music, or a point

I found that trailer narration immensely irritating

I thought of Katamari too, but I'm quite amenable to pointlessness in theory

I thought that the trailer narration was just clips of Alan Watts speaking?

Is it? I stand by my assessment regardless

no foul if you find Alan Watts irritating -- as much as I get from him, as his influence keeps spreading and turning up on preposterously influential platforms, you can start to see which fragments of his thinking have appeal to certain quarters. living here near Silicon Valley one always stays a little wary of the way Buddhism can be used to justify one's place in the pecking order

just the same, if I had kids and they were older than 12, I'd be happier with them playing this than most things. the first thirty minutes made me so happy I was like 'this is ALL AGES' even despite Watts' occasional mention of suicide, but you absolutely need to be at a certain stage to handle the final stretch inside the Brain
