part two of a trilogy in games based on clive barker's nightbreed movie (nightbreed: the arcade game, nightbreed: the interactive movie, part 3 got scrapped because the film was a flop) for the amiga 500, made by the unassailable ocean.

the graphics were just ridiculously creepy, and there was no in
game music as far as i can remember.

this is the first level.

as you drive around aimlessly the car goes "brooooom" as if it's about to explode. remember, no music. scary. after about 5 minutes of randomly brooooming, you get caught.

you escape to the graveyard.

you get chased by a guy with snakes for dreadlocks. to run you had to waggle the joystick left and right, and you make this fearsome "ha ha ha" panting noise.

then you get caught, and die. that's it. no one i know has been able to clock this level. we read a walkthrough and it turns out, you're supposed to turn right before he catches you, and instead of killing you he turns you into one of the nightbreed by biting you. i hadn't seen the film at the time so just figured it was the end of the game or something.

this is seriously the scariest game i have ever played. did anyone else play this game? was it as scary for you as it was for me? did anyone ever get past the second level?
