its too busy with them all around link is a loner by nature

don't mind the occasional stuff like yunobo accidentally setting me on fire or tulin blowing away my goodies cause it adds to the game's roadrunner/coyote-esque humor

a lot of conversations where Link does his ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thing to explain that he's actually already done the next step

looking forward to that part. "oh you have a dramatic speech to give me about how important it is to do some quest? yeah i'm way ahead of you"

i do like it when the quest is "find 10 bright-eyed crabs" and you get to be like, "what you didn't think i'd have 10 bright-eyed crabs, you nitwit, you fool..."

I still only have tulin cause I guess I'm just gonna explore the entire map before progressing main quest, my biggest irrational pet peeve in this game is how he's always flying in and out of my pocket and making an annoying sound effect every time, it drives me nuts

I usually only have:
- Tulin out if I'm general exploring, handy for flying/bridging gaps
- will add Yunobo if in a cave, he sorts out gems and walls handily
- I'll add the others in a boss fight. They can pretty handily dispatch minor mobs alone!

I finshed off all of the Hyrule castle multifight quite easily thanks to them, esp because diff monsters call for diff use cases eg Hinox can be headshot by Tulin, Gibdo can be zapped by Riju, etc. I tell you what though I went into that not expecting wave after wave of fake-Zelda monsters to be chucked at me, phew.

It kinda feels like using a mimic tear in Eldin Ring.

I almost always have tulin out. His arrows have saved my bad at fighting ass so many times.

Oh! And Riju's power is really good, but geez, trying to get near her in a fight to trigger it is difficult - its like she actively runs away!

That happened to me in the middle of the bloody lightning temple - the one place where you absolutely have to have arrows. I had to use a travel portal, run off and buy a pile, and come back.

I hover around 250 arrows. If I get below 170 I get nervous. Smash every crate and pot, kill every bokoblin archer. I rarely buy any.

I don't think I've ever had more than about 80. Currently on zero.

The walk to Zora’s domain doesn’t seem to be as arrow rich as it was in BOTW.

I was going thru too many arrows esp in the depths til I learned you can just throw brightblooms, you dont have to arrow them (unless you want to shoot off a big one a long distance I guess).

really wish you could craft arrows, but maybe it would throw the balance off or something

I also think they should’ve done a Cappy-style co-op mode, with the sages. Let player 2 decide which should be out.

I'm disappointed that the guy obsessed with bubbul gems doesn't keep trading you stuff after you complete the gear set.

that's my vibe lately, all gollumed out collecting zonanite in my mining mask, overworld is for normies

I'm trying to hit all of the aboveground shrines before I spend a lot of time underground. I wander down if there's a specific quest or something, but I'm saving it for last.

I just got to Gerudo Town and I am excited to see the return of the gibdos

Ask me again in a few days and I might be wishing for them to go away though

omg that "Bridging the Sands" shrine was so painful

not even fulfilling to beat. I think the long bridge I built just happened to break in a lucky way.

so far the most aggravating thing i've gone through in this game was getting the palm tree trunks to line up perfectly through the support holes when rebuilding the houses in lurelin

the story and memories in this game are so much better

yeah totally the zelda storyline was actually kinda good

LOL @ the ring ruins quest, which really isnt as well-telegraphed as it could be as part of the main quest so I just went and did the Mineru thing on my own BEFORE I triggered it.

And now I have Calip the nerd and Tauro the swole islander getting all excited about mysterious zonai ruins when I already know their purpose/end game haha. Why am I not telling them? Stupid. Still, at least I didnt know I was missing some cool armor sets from not having done this bit before now. Seems like its actually completely skippable which is a bit odd.
