Yes! I did the water level first and COULD NOT figure out how to make those things turn. Eventually I broke down and turned to the internet and felt stupid.

for those building balloons, i’ve found the zonai flame emitters to be the most effective lifting tool

I saw a YouTube video where someone Ultrahanded a thick stick to the side of a balloon, just above a flame emitter. The stick keeps burning after the emitter runs out and burns long enough for the emitter to recharge.

There is a schematic for a dirigible that does something similar with torches

they should let you upgrade the wing and balloon duration

Can anyone explain what the giant hover blocks are useful for? Outside of one or 2 shrines, I cant work it out. I keep finding sky islands littered with em with rockets, but nfi what if anything I can do with them.

I didn't know this either, so I tested it. Charges will give you more than the amount of items put in (eg 5 charges seems to spit out 10 items?) but, construct horns are like for like.

I found a Yiga Clan hideout which had hover blocks stuck to a big wheel with two flame emitters, was a pretty effective weapon.

u can ascend through them which is handy, but yeah i didnt really use them other than when theyre provided for specific puzzles

finally found a specific piece of armor i was looking for - i probably spent more time searching for this thing than playing the main story lol

I spent WAY WAY too long over the weekend trying to scale the impossibly high walls in the depths that I knew were enclosing a reverseo-Zora's Domain, and failed. Only to then follow anothre set of statues near there properly and find out there was a fecking hole in the side of the wall-moat around the back of where I was. Grrr.

The schematic it led to felt like a really baffling let down after it all.

agreed, the trial of the sword was a fun combat challenge (not sure if i ever finished the final one) and champions' ballad did a good job deepening the story, with a great final boss fight to boot

I did this too and did the quest, and I do think it kinda diminished the narrative - a lot of conversations where Link does his ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thing to explain that he's actually already done the next step.

Still, not as foolish a subversion of the suggested linear path as when I hopped into the Hyrule Castle chasm just for fun.

I just finished it (but still havent done whatever's sposed to happen to clear the cloud over Faron?). It was in context bcs I waited, except the weird thing is they encourage you to go do all the Geoglyphs early on (least, I stumbled on it really early?) so I'd already seen ALL the memories before Mineru's history lesson which seemed repetetive as a result. I dont know if that is what was intended?

i mostly kept the flying guy on cause hes helpful for flying and brought out the smashing guy in caves, never used the rest, tho theyd def help with fighting if you had them all out

i usually have 1 or 2 out depending on the situation. i might summon all 5 if i'm trying to kill a gleeok or something
