BATTLEFIELD HEROES

damn, this game is fun. I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, because I haven't played an online FPS in a really long time, but I kinda got addicted. Sure it's got some balance issues, but when you're in a game with two evenly matched teams and you're racking up kills and completing missions (you can set different objectives like capturing the flag x amount of times, gaining valor points when you accomplish them) and bouncing around a field in the back of a jeep desperately trying to take out a tank, it's certainly worth the free price tag. Bonus: you don't have to download it and install, it's all online.

Battlefield Heroes

Oh. Well, now this game is out on PC, if it makes a difference for anyone (it does for me because I don't have a PS3 or 360). For some reason I always think of this thread as free online PC games.

How far have you gotten?

i've opened the briefcase and have a whole buncha crap i don't know what to do with.

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 15:53 (sixteen years ago)

I opened the briefcase, the two panels, the vitruvian man and the floor board and then gave up :(

cozwn, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 15:53 (sixteen years ago)

I've opened the briefcase and the safe but only one panel (htf do you open the right one?) and moved the chair out of the way but I can't figure out the color (or other) sequencing on the buttons for the key in the left panel (though I have the colored cube).

for the right one hold the button for 10-20 seconds and it'll open, not very logical I know : /

cozwn, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:02 (sixteen years ago)

Grrrr. Thanks, cowzn.

cozwn, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:08 (sixteen years ago)

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:13 (sixteen years ago)

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:14 (sixteen years ago)

So there is, in hindsight. The same clue helps with the safe.

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:22 (sixteen years ago)

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:27 (sixteen years ago)

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 16:46 (sixteen years ago)

Great Scott! It's Molecular Man. (Ste), Tuesday, 11 August 2009 17:22 (sixteen years ago)

Great Scott! It's Molecular Man. (Ste), Tuesday, 11 August 2009 17:25 (sixteen years ago)

no. maybe i'm confused. it's been a long day. xxp

ledge, Tuesday, 11 August 2009 17:27 (sixteen years ago)

Amongst the various pieces of paper, Ste: There's a cryptic one that tells you how to approach the safe's dial and it also shows someone pressing down a button. There's another that has XX=??

Fuck that radio thing - when you have to go through every single combination to get something to work, it's no longer a puzzle, it's a chore.

grocery groin (snoball), Tuesday, 11 August 2009 18:29 (sixteen years ago)

How does it work, snoball?

I'm stuck. I have two batteries in the doohickey, and a big black thing with a tube inside of it that doesn't seem to do anything. Chair is still bolted in place. No idea how to open any of the various safes or lockboxes despite trying a lot of different theories.
