the combat in xenoblade 1 left me cold - is it any different in the sequel?

they added some more layers to it but its still fundamentally the same mmo-esque system with autoattacks and cooldowns

seminal SNES jrpg, big influence on tons of stuff (moreso for its tone and writing style than its gameplay which is basically just dragon quest with some tweaks)

xxxp no I love Xenoblade 2 as well, a mess yes but a glorious one. The battle systems in Xeno games tend to take a long time to ramp up though, they’ll be adding in layers of systems like 20+ hours in, it’s all part of the madness.

Chrono cross looks like an upscale on an emulator. That game has major problems and needs more improvements.

I'd be very surprised if Mother 3 got a proper release in the US. Fassad is pretty un-PC. You open presents and they fart on you. You can make the monkey smear dung all over itself. Among other things.
