......and epic is down
― wasdnous (abanana), Thursday, 14 May 2020 21:41 (six years ago)
I was able to get in and grab the freebie just now, but then it started crashing over and over and switching the language around.
― Judi Dench's Human Hand (methanietanner), Thursday, 14 May 2020 22:04 (six years ago)
civ6 is free on epic
― reggae mike love (polyphonic), Thursday, 21 May 2020 17:22 (six years ago)

In case Super Bernie Bros wasn't enough for ya!Should be enough play to drive you insane before we get a Covid-19 vaccine.
― Nhex, Saturday, 6 June 2020 07:29 (six years ago)
Ah ok - I saw the site owner posted a "best of" list:https://itch.io/c/891735/bundle-for-racial-justice-and-equality-selections
Hey, Tonight We Riot's in there
― Nhex, Saturday, 6 June 2020 07:31 (six years ago)
The site is down for a server upgrade due to demand. Over $250k raised already.
― BRAVE THE AFRIAD (onimo), Saturday, 6 June 2020 13:04 (six years ago)
Well I guess I'm set for the next decade.
― wasdnous (abanana), Saturday, 6 June 2020 13:26 (six years ago)
they've raised over a million now.
― Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Saturday, 6 June 2020 20:55 (six years ago)
Wow that's a great bundle
― Ste, Monday, 8 June 2020 08:41 (six years ago)
Bundles been updated with a couple of hundred more titles. The list seems to be reordered as well. A lot of the bigger titles are on the first couple of pages now.
I've yet to download anything from it, but I did start playing, and do recommend, the in-browser demo of the puzzle game Cardinal Chains. https://danijmn.itch.io/cardinalchains
― Øystein, Tuesday, 9 June 2020 13:01 (six years ago)
Some of the items are rpg gamebooks or game resources. A few of the games seem to be free on itch.io already.
― wasdnous (abanana), Tuesday, 9 June 2020 13:51 (six years ago)
what a swizz
― rolling keyring (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 9 June 2020 13:58 (six years ago)
2064 Read Only Memories has been added. I've had this on my Steam wishlist for bloody years lol, I can finally try it.
― Ste, Tuesday, 9 June 2020 14:11 (six years ago)
(I believe it's pretty good)
― Ste, Tuesday, 9 June 2020 14:12 (six years ago)
When I checked through the isthereanydeal wishlist sync, I think I had like eight indie games that were Steam wishlisted and happened to be in the bundle. Not a small feat considering how many I already do own from bundling.
― Nhex, Thursday, 11 June 2020 00:04 (six years ago)
As mentioned in the itch thread:https://www.humblebundle.com/fight-for-racial-justice-bundle
Fantastic bundle, though $30 mininum and of course I own over half of it. Still, 100% to charity

― JimD, Wednesday, 17 June 2020 09:31 (five years ago)
If there was also some way to sync my save file this would definitely mean me jumping from PS4 to PC (via GeForce Now, which I’m using loads at the moment).
― JimD, Wednesday, 17 June 2020 09:33 (five years ago)
(Huh, apparently that IS possible for Switch <> PC, surprisingly...but switch version owners are locked out of the free-pc copy offer. And cross save from PS4 is a no. Meanwhile GeForce Now supports The Witcher 3...but not the GoG version, which is the one this offer gives you. Foiled all round!)
― JimD, Wednesday, 17 June 2020 09:38 (five years ago)
Epic Store free games this week include Football Manager 2020 and Watch Dogs 2
― Piven After Midnight (The Yellow Kid), Friday, 18 September 2020 00:13 (five years ago)
This month's Humble Choice is the first great one in a while, so I get to unpause. Indivisible, Children of Morta, One Step From Eden, Shining Resonance Refrain and more.
Yogscast Jingle Jam changed sites from Humble this year, but as usual it doesn't look super great.
― Nhex, Friday, 4 December 2020 19:12 (five years ago)
yeah was looking at that yogscast one, it's a bit rub
― Two Meter Peter (Ste), Friday, 4 December 2020 20:56 (five years ago)
If you are even remotely interested in Western CRPGs, these two should be in your library and next week you'll be able to get them for free:
https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2020/12/04/pillars-of-eternity-and-tyranny-are-free-on-the-epic-games-store-next-week/
― pomenitul, Friday, 4 December 2020 20:59 (five years ago)
humble choice: Most months have 1 or 2 "big" major label titles that I have no interest in. I like that this month doesn't do that.
yogscast: everything decent in it has been in cheap bundles before.
― wasdnuos (abanana), Saturday, 5 December 2020 06:02 (five years ago)
fuck me backwards, those Epic Games lads are crazy
― Uptown Top Scamping (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 5 December 2020 12:17 (five years ago)
Nabbed Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny for free on the Epic Games store even though I already own them on Steam.
― pomenitul, Thursday, 10 December 2020 18:31 (five years ago)
thanks for reminding me!also noticed this on the site "Also starting December 17, we’ll be giving away a new game each day for two weeks straight - that’s right, it’s 15 Days of Free Games! Each game will be free to claim for just 24 hours, but they’re yours to keep forever."sheesh why buy anything ever again

the epic freebie period has started btw, cities skylines today if you're into that sort of thing
i didn't know about their endless $10 coupon thing last time around... got dead cells and outer wilds for $5 each
― ✖, Friday, 18 December 2020 02:53 (five years ago)
desperate to get people off of steam i guess
― the serious avant-garde universalist right now (forksclovetofu), Friday, 18 December 2020 03:37 (five years ago)
free money + free games def the way to do it
― Nhex, Friday, 18 December 2020 14:18 (five years ago)
Liking the GOG launcher that can bring all your other launcher games together in one list. Imported everything last night, seems to work well.
― maf you one two (maffew12), Friday, 18 December 2020 14:21 (five years ago)
possibly the full schedule
This got sent to me a few hours ago, I wasn't sure if it's real or not.But now, as New 'n' Tasty leaked to come out today, this list is most likely true. Still take it as a grain of salt. I'll give you more info where it's from. pic.twitter.com/0vTNgMec3n— jovanmunja (@jovanmunja) December 18, 2020
― ✖, Saturday, 19 December 2020 02:53 (five years ago)
generally disappointing but tbh i've never played any of the free games
― Nhex, Saturday, 19 December 2020 04:17 (five years ago)
Looks like the list is right. I looked up all these games cuz I don't have a clue. An alarming amount of them are survival/loneliness sims. Interested to try "Night in the Woods"... which looks busier than the title suggests.
― maf you one two (maffew12), Monday, 21 December 2020 22:53 (five years ago)
alien isolation is free on epic today
― reggae mike love (polyphonic), Monday, 21 December 2020 22:56 (five years ago)
Night in the Woods was also in the big itch.io bundle for racial justice, if you bought that.
― wasdnuos (abanana), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 01:36 (five years ago)
I'm a huge first Alien movie nerd but even I thought Alien Isolation was a bit pants - should be called Android Isolation amirite?
― Two Meter Peter (Ste), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 09:04 (five years ago)
I never played it but I've heard some people say positive things about it. It certainly has a great look.
― reggae mike love (polyphonic), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 19:24 (five years ago)
steam sale even lamer than usual, most stuff in my wishlist is 10-30% off and they're not even doing the $5 token thing any more. bah humbug.
― ( X '____' )/ (zappi), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 19:48 (five years ago)
odd there's nothing to compete with Epic's endless $10 coupons? They both must've had a great year
― maf you one two (maffew12), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 22:58 (five years ago)
Brigador free on GOG til tomorrow sometime, looks like a hoot
― maf you one two (maffew12), Thursday, 24 December 2020 16:24 (five years ago)
A solid bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/humble-heal-covid-19-bundle
― reggae mike love (polyphonic), Wednesday, 12 May 2021 18:10 (five years ago)
Definitely solid, but I already own 22/27 of the titles from older bundles
― Nhex, Thursday, 13 May 2021 01:57 (five years ago)
NBA 2K21 is free on Epic at the moment.
― reggae mike love (polyphonic), Friday, 21 May 2021 00:53 (five years ago)
they're doing the $10 never ending coupon thing again too... can get hades and outer wilds for $10, death stranding for $14, disco elysium and outer wilds for $20, RDR2 for $30
― ✖, Friday, 21 May 2021 01:15 (five years ago)
I'm going to pull the trigger on actually buying something from the Epic Store... eventually... because of those coupons
― Nhex, Friday, 21 May 2021 23:37 (five years ago)
Just bought the complete Ultima games set from GOG cos they were cheap as.
― Diggin Holes (Ste), Wednesday, 9 June 2021 13:46 (five years ago)
Is Ultima 4 the best starting point? I played bits of these games but never got very far.
