OML is one of the few 5s I have and he isn't unusable at 0/1/1. I could definitely use a yellow though.

my OML is like 5-2-3? but I don't ever use him. he was showing up a lot in pvp when I only had one 5* champ. now that I have three 5* champs it's most 5Thor + Okoye all the time, which is fine, it's an easy team, easier than the old standby of 5Thanos + 5Black Panther, for instance.

I'd kill for a 5/2/3 OML, but then again my best 5* is a 2/2/0

I have 4 5* champs: Thanos (451), Thor (452), Gambit (451), and Okoye (461, woot). I’ve started using Thanos and Okoye in PVE, which lets me clear almost any PVE node in 3 turns max on SLC9.

I keep forgetting that the PvP reward system is more forgiving now, with total Wins awarding prizes. It's still too brutal for me with the matching, but maybe this month I'll actually try. Been finding the game fun again.

That PVP with America Chavez boosted was painful. She's clearly the best 4* once you've got 5*s. Also, I am finally getting viable 5*s other than my champ Phoenix. 1/4/5 Surfer is good, 4/1/4 Strange will do, while 5/2/3 Gambit isn't good enough yet. And Thor at 2/2/2 is usable for his low health passive.

I hit full season progression for the first time this season, the anniversary one. I can hit 900 every PVP now if I have time. I have five 5* champs now (Thor, Beardo Cap, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and Phoenix), and will champ OML by the end of the week. I need one more cover to be able to champ Jessica Jones too. Once I made the 5* transition things have sped up considerably. Thor + Strange in PVE is fast, and though I hit the walls of Thor+Okoye early in PVP, that's a joke team on defense and I rarely take any damage. Black Bolt is the only one who hurts a little.

on the one hand, I'm so far behind you guys... still only a handful of champed 4*

on the other hand, rofflestomping my way to my modest 40 PVP wins with C4rol, Daken and Loki is fun as hell.

that team is particularly wicked counter for I Dare You squads featuring Doctor Strange/America Chavez

Hi dorks. I used to be part of ilx-statix before I got booted for inactivity due to boneheadedly leaving my phone on an airplane. But I’m back and playing daily and grinding a bit on all the PVEs. If there’s s slot open or an inactive player, I’d love to join up again, espesh before the Sinister 600 event. I’m trying to go *** -> **** but I can’t find a dece alliance to help.

I'm up to 7 5* champs now. Upside: grinding is much faster now. Downside: I champ new 4*s without knowing their abilities because I will never use them except when required. The only 4* I don't have champed now are Taskmaster, Domino, Bishop, Nebula, and Prowler, and they're all well-along. I steadily wonder what I am still playing for, since I don't see any reason to use anything but 5* Thor + Jessica Jones in PVP and 5* Doctor Strange in PVE; like, Kitty Pryde seems fun and I'm getting her pretty well covered but she's not gonna replace Jessica Jones. Anyway I guess the real answer is that I still have to poop and as long as that persists, there's a place for MPQ in my life.

Kitty is great in PVE. I’ve started playing her/Nico/4* Grocket and the passive damage escalation is hilarious.

I'm still playing every day, and I still only have 1 5* with 13 covers. I'm at the point where I sleep through the puzzle gameplay and just experience the gacha game stamping on my face forever.

I just do 3 nodes of the Deadpool daily each day plus the crash of the Titans

I recently champed my Silver Surfer though

I always liked Jessica Jones but didn't have her covered enough to make her a factor in any of my compositions. I've started leveling my 5s when they're boosted, so when she came up this past week I leveled her to 390 (3/2/4) and wow am I a believer now; I was tearing through all sorts of teams with her/Okoye/.5 Thor, including so many Gritty teams

I also realized that Gritty/Bishop is susceptible to Okoye/.5 Thor/4* blue stunner (ie, Gamora/Iceman/Peggy); the blue match damage is below the threshold to trigger Bishop and once you get enough AP to stun him, you can cascade Kitty to death and then usually get rid of Bishop shortly thereafter, leaving a lonely exposed Grocket to stomp on while Okoye runs through all of the yellow .5 Thor has banked for her to heal and create TU cascades to make .5 Thor's green and red even worse.

yeah one reason I stopped playing was the proliferation of Gritty/Bishop at the 5* level so I'm glad you're finding a way through it without smashing your phone

Gritty = 4* Groot/Rocket + Kitty Pride

Grocket places 7 strikes at the beginning of the match and Kitty instantly starts buffing them to insane degrees every turn until you can get rid of 4 of them or down her

It's super annoying

I've been trying to use black suit Spider-man against Gritty, since he nullifies enemy strike tiles, but once there's an attack tile out from Kitty's red I'm fucked.

I’ve had a good amount of success using Okoye to match away the strikes while .5 Thor passively collects yellow and generates cascades, oftentimes wiping other strikes off the board, then healing Okoye and nuking Kitty with Thor’s green/red. Of course when it doesn’t work, it’s a nightmare.

Anyone pull from Latest Legends now that 5* Storm is available? I decided to go for it since I had 350 CP banked and ended up with:

1 yellow Rescue (now 1/2/0)
1 black Hela (now 0/1/3)
2 yellow Storms (now 0/0/3)

This probably means I won't see another 5* until October...

(also I got back 22 CP from the champ levels for the 4*s I drew, which hey)

Nice turnaround today - Pulled a 3* Bulleye, which netted me a 4* Kingpin reward, which then got me a 5* Daredevil reward.

5* Storm and 5* Iceman are beasts, even underleveled. In particular, required 5* Storm on the Royal Family node made my Thorkoye combo extremely happy.

Oh also my kingdom for Sabertooth covers, he is the anti-Gritty

I haven't drawn one of the new 5* for a long time now, I'm just drawing classics. I played the season sim to 2000 just for laffs the other day, I had to skip a lot of gritty but I got it.
