if nostalgia was that big a factor in my love for gaming i would be playing those fucking sonic games

i'm more specifically referring to N's strong-arming of third parties making killer games for them during that time, which they've never really gotten to happen since

like, hell, even i'm still hoping for great third party games but it's a generally a faint promise with some exceptions. (i gotta pick up Bayonetta 1+2)

I brought a set of Nintendo Labo to a holiday with my brothers and their kids but the latter were not really interested so I just used the Switch to play Enter the Gungeon

xp bayonetta is basically a first-party nintendo thing now, they funded the 2nd game and presumably the upcoming 3rd one too

where is killer7 switch

I was gonna say both Bayonetta 1 and Killer 7 got/are getting PC ports so Capcom's actually... doing something right

have been snooping around the Switch hacking scene and things really are picking up speed. custom firmware will drop soonish and a port of Linux Retroarch (Lakka) has just started development and is already running PS1 games at close to 60fps without sound for now, in a month should be full working with every console up to PS1.

Tennis is decent fun but they need to fix that lag for real. even with my best matches there was a huge delay whenever returning the opponent's serve

Capcom's actually... doing something right

has anyone got the new Street Fighter 30th collection? seems like a whole lot of awesome games in there.

from what i heard the netcode is awful and some of the games aren't perfectly emulated

I've mostly heard that it's a great package overall, netcode isn't great, and allowing Akuma in ST ranked was a dumb decision

reward yourself for sustainable progress not things out of your control
