4* Blade >>>>>>> 4* Venom (he's now considered to be the bottom tier of 4* characters)

Of your 3*s, Blade definitely should get maxed (and he's one of the characters who don't have a single optimal build -- he can go 3/5/5 or 5/3/5 depending on the situation).

Other possibilities:
I personally like She-Hulk -- I've probably mentioned this before, but team her with IM40 and Patch and wreck opponents -- BR, steal some of the enemy tiles, then hit with Shulk's AOE red (though you'll likely take some serious damage as well).
R&G are good because they're tanky and have true healing. Their biggest drawback is that they're pretty slow.
Mystique -- maaaaybe. Like DJP said, her purple/black combo is a big hammer; I used to team her with Patch to amplify the damage (and make use of the stun AND used her purple CD tile to try to crowd out the enemy strikes) and one-shot dangerous opponents.

IMO the rest can be sold for ISO.

Thano5/OML/SS is kind of an unfair team even when undercovered (I currently have them at 255 1-1-1/345 4-2-0/345 2-3-1 and basically have only needed to use health packs on Thano5 about every third game aside from one time when things went horribly wrong because my iPad registered me wanting to match the wrong tile)

I think Vision is solid, especially when buffed.

If you (lol) load the whole thread, you'd see that I've plumped for Vision before, so I could've included him! But now that I'm using more 4* characters, I don't use him much anymore. However, he certainly is useful for a 3* roster, as he works well with Fist + Cage and Switch + Quicksilver, or whenever Magneto needs a break.

after reading a bunch of forum wailing about how terrible Mr Fantastic is, I thought to myself "is he really THAT bad?" and ran through some PVE nodes with him (101, 3/3/5), IW (273, 4/5/4) and Thing (156, 5/2/1). Thanks to IW being championed and boosted, she has well over 20K health and, with her yellow, hides the rest of the team for two turns at a time, meaning I was able to grind through most of the nodes without using a health pack until an unlucky power killed Thing (I still won that match).

My final take on undercovered and underleveled Reed is that yeah, he kind of sucks, but Imaginaut is hilarious when IW gets her strike tiles out.

My Reed is champed, so I should run this more often.

And I think Thing is my next champion.

I'm tempted to level him just to see how Imaginaut scales.

At 5 covers and level 275, Imaginaut's extra damage is 829.

My Fantastic Four are all CHAMPIONS now.

So I got locked out of my house today and had to wait close to an hour for my parents to come with the spare key, but meanwhile, I'm on my porch within the range of my WiFi, so I claw and battle like hard in the pvp and managed to snag the Jean cover. True story!

Also finally got a yellow OML, I caneed actually see what the guys is about npr.

My OML is 3-2-2 now, l360, and is ridiculously great. Over 20k HP plus a crazy heal.

I said to myself "I am going to get a 4* Captain Marvel cover even if it kills me" and ground like crazy in the Deadpool PvE. Ended up #78 with a green cover.

current 13 covered 3*'s that i haven't yet champed: mystique, daken, human torch, doc oc, gamora, rocket & groot, bullseye, cpt marvel, psylocke, spider-man, punisher,

11/12 cover 3*'s: black panther, quicksilver, deadpool

drained my iso champing vision, dr doom, blade, she-hulk etc, but building back up and a few of my 2*'s are about to max out to cash in. thinking i'll probably wait and champ black panther and quicksilver of the above... ended up just selling like 8 gamora covers which was painful. i've got 2x punisher covers coming up and 2x human torches.

is elektra worth rostering?

Yes, but not at the expense of a bunch of other characters

you gotta add which covers you have (they're all 0/0/0 now)! it'll help when deciding what you can get rid off, it's better to dump something you've only one one cover off vs. something you have 13 covers for.

When 2* Cap hits 144, feel free to sell him (unless you're using him in goon nodes to overwrite countdown tiles). You'll want to keep the other 2*s for now too so that you have a consistent go-to team.

ONLY open tokens that are Heroic or better if you have the roster space to add a new character (open standards whenever you feel like, you'll still need a way to get more 2* covers and generate ISO from 1* sells). For example, if you have one roster space available, pull until you get a new and desirable character, then stop.

And with CP, keep hoarding that for now, too -- with your roster, you're going to be concentrating on building up your 3* first, and you don't want to get forced into a situation where you have to sell someone because you pulled a good 4*.

TWO EXCEPTIONS to the CP rule:

If you have a good 3* that's at 12 covers, and you get another cover that you can't apply. In that case, it might be worth spending the 20CP to directly buy the cover you need to champ them.

Also, if you're at 4 covers in one cover and the 5th would be a huge upgrade (like Hood's blue at 5, or Cyclops's red, or GSBW's green or purple), then it might be worthwhile to buy that last cover with CP even if you're not going to champ them.

Looking more closely at invisible Woman, I think 4/5/4 is a versatile build.

^^^ That's what I run with. I toy with the idea of changing it but it's a good compromise overall.

re: advice for remy, I would argue that maxing 2* champion characters is the priority right now, as that turns them into a resource engine to fuel building up your 3* and 4* tiers. So my advice would be:

- continue hoarding hero points to add roster space
- grab all of the 2* characters and roster/champ them (esp MagNow and ModHawk; those two are the cornerstone of making DDQ into a joke)
- when you hit a critical mass of champions (probably 6-7?) start recycling them (sell them when you hit 144 AND you've picked up another cover for them, then reroster and rebuild; selling gets you 65K ISO and you only need like another 13K total to level from 15 to 94 and champion them again)
- roster Juggernaut for the DDQ 1* node; he can solo it and being able to clear the entire thing gives you bonus ISO (a few more 2* champions and you should be able to do this, by which I mean "roster and lvl ModHawk and MagNow" because those two paired with CStorm are easy-mode)

OK I am mature enough to admit that IW (at least while buffed) is a BOSS. Her, Mr. F, and Star-Lord or my lolteam for this Heroic event.

I've been running IW/OML/Jean; match yellow (tanked by self-healing OML) to go invisible, grab purple while Jean is invisible, load up on blue and green once OML and Jean go visible again (tanked by IW, who then ducks behind OML with her invisibility) and fire OML black, then IW blue/green, then another IW yellow if OML needs to catch up on heals, all the while accumulating purple in cascades so Jean can smash the entire team with her massive AoE. It's probably not as fast as it could be but it has been fun and saves me a lot on health packs.

Meanwhile I have Nick Fury sitting at 4-4-4 and Elektra at 5-4-3, along with a 4-4-2 Hulkbuster and a 3-3-5 Quake (Quake is particularly galling because my next champion level for SWitch is going to give me a blue Quake cover)
