So they've essentially ripped off Micro Machines. Yes I wish this was coming to the Xbox360.

Excited for it. I've always enjoyed pitching the camera all the way up when driving around and lamented that you can't permanently set it that way, ie earlier gtas. Also a fan of micro machines (ps1 days) and even RC pro-am from the NES.

i played gta5 a bunch back in the day, on xbox 360, but never dabbled much in the online stuff.

now i have a ps4 and i want to dabble in the online stuff. my question: do i have to do anything in the single player game to unlock stuff in the online mode? and/or, is there some code (god i feel old, sorry) to unlock the full game so i don't have to do all the missions again? it was fun, but if i'm going to play the single player again i just want to have everything unlocked.

Single-player and online modes have very little to do with each other. They're about as separated as Vice City and Vice City Stories.

Very interested in what you find online using a PS4 though. Rockstar stopped updating that version awhile back.

is there really no way to disable voice chat during missions and races? i see that you can disable it during freemode but i can't seem to find any information on muting it in other modes. the last several events have featured some little kid talking about his mommy incredibly loudly and constantly! i guess i could try to find my own headset and talk about my mommy too

Still a bit surprised no proper dlc was developed for gtaV, as in an extra single player story mode. Lots of areas of the map totally under used, or not used at all.

I'm still playing the more or less abandoned PS3 version of GTA Online. It's a little (more) like the wild west, with increasing incidence of annoying middle school modders and server crashes, but it's really no less populated than it's ever been afaict.

Uncanny glitches in the matrix keep occurring, too. Like all of the NPCs will just disappear for a while. Or you'll see a car off in the distance advance toward you and suddenly jerk back to the point in space where it was two seconds earlier, only to advance forward and jerk back again in an endless time loop. GTA reality is disintegrating at roughly the same rate as our own, it would seem.

I was on foot last night, traversing the countryside and consistently outfoxing a dude in a jet trying to splatter me across the landscape. I sure am gonna miss this Bugs Bunny simulator when it finally croaks.
