I think 4* Blade is super boring design-wise but his passive is great. It puts the strikes on random tiles instead of red tiles as his 3* version does. No more running out of tiles to put them on.

I have all the 4*s released up to Deadpool at max covers, except for Devil Dino and Star-Lord who I sold for HP. Now I have 5 more slots than I need and 5595 HP in the bank. My roster.

so i had an extra slot (mostly from cashing in all my max'd 2 level chars to start anew) and i opened a legendary pack thinking i'd either get another cover for a 4 star i already have or at worst a 4 star i don't have yet to go in that slot. but i pulled a green black bolt cover and he's lvl 255 and my next highest lvls are 172, 170 and 170. is that going to screw my scaling? should i just delete him (and obv not open any more of those packs for much longer)?

I doubt a single 5* would mess with it much. Any time characters get boosted, the boosted levels count towards the scaling -- did you notice it then? Also, Black Bolt is awesome, one of the best characters in the game, usable at 1/1/0.

Yeah absolutely don't delete him. Use him!

Any good strats for beating Kaecilius?

use Elektra and two tanks. elektra puts down enemy strike tiles and blocks some damage with her black.

whah. i tried Patch and matching the created enemy strike tiles didn't do squat.

I went the other direction, going with a team that can survive a while -- KK with someone with some cheap powers -- matching the strikes as they appear.

I beat it the first time with Patch + Loki + Quicksilver.

I've got one slot - Scott Lang or Goddess of Thunder? Or both and delete one of: Carnage (1 cover), Drax (1 cover), Star-Lord (2 covers), Devil Dino (4 covers), Howard the Duck (2 covers)?

Delete Devil Dino and maybe Howard too. Their covers are rarer than others and Devil Dino is only useful during once a year events.

If it's s black carnage, sell that one.

Halfway through the event they changed 5* to 3* Doctor Strange? Wacky. Though they gave up on 3*s altogether.

they released both at the same time. same powers i think too? simultaneous lazy/other strange i think. i got the 5 star from one of the vaults! like a 1% chance! (10% for the purple token, 10% for the strange from the purple token)

Yeah, they added video ads, you get a reward from watching them. I got 1000 ISO and a Heroic token that gave me poop.

I got 10 HP twice yesterday, but nothing more. I don't have a problem with ads though. worst case, I skip them, whatever.

drew a purple XFDP yesterday, now 5-2-5, took him to 250. but getting that last cover is gonna be a drag. It's the same for my Nick Fury, who's been sitting at 5-5-2 for a while, and two days ago I drew another blue cover. still, both are totally usable now, buffed at least.

Eller, consider spending 120 CP to finish XFDP if you don't see any direct avenues to getting that last cover, he's one of the 4*'s where buying a cover is worth it.

You can't, for better or for worse.

If you start hoarding now, you can get 120 surprisingly quickly. 58+ in a week from two PVES, 15 from getting to 575 inot pvp.

how do ppl like 4* ghost rider and 4* iceman? worth ditching carnage and howard the duck for if i can't rustle up the hero points in time?

problem is they all kinda suck at low covers

the commercial rewards are kinda scattered. someone here said they got 1000 HP, sometimes I've gotten 10 HP

Was that me? It was 1000 ISO. I think I've gotten 100 HP, though, but yeah, the ad rewards are completely random.

Iceman is probably my co-favorite 4* in the game along with Cyclops. They're definitely better than Howard and Carnage, though it depends on how many covers you have there.

Ghost Rider is mostly useful in boss fights, but only if you have his black at 4 (borderline usable at 3).

Iceman rules. I have him at 1/5/1 and he's capable of eliminating horrifying characters by himself (hi dere boosted Rulk/Hulkbuster)

Iceman is useful at 0/3/0 and amazing at 5/5/3.
I am trying to quit this game again. I am 3 days clean.

I am not trying to quit, not at all, but I don't have time right now. I'd have liked to get those Thing covers (in the PVE and PVP) but it ain't gonna happen. He's not a priority for me but I want all the 4 star covers I can get.

Any thoughts on the IW buff?

that blast damage is bananas. i wonder if her bubbles and quicksilver's frozen tiles still get along with each other...

i have her at 8 covers i think so i might boost her a bit to try her out

i guess the buff isn't on yet, mine's at 4/2/4 and still looks exactlyu the same. jsut as well bc i'm saving my iso to get my hulkbuster to 270! will be my second maxed 4* :D

At some point I decided to stop spending ISO until I could either a) max a character or b) buff the required 4* for DDQ to the point where I could easily win

After blowing through a couple of SHIELD levels and recycling some 2*s so I could rebuild them, I was sitting on a max of about 260K; I just recently rechamped CStorm and threw 100K at Jean to get her to 240 to see if that would affect her health in Balance of Power (it didn't) and am now hovering around 100K.

This feels like a drastically different game now that I'm not paralyzed due to lack of ISO.

IW buff doesn't roll out till tomorrow with the new season. (Also, that's when Dr. Strang3 gets added to tokens, which is why I have 27 Heroics and 8 Elites hoarded.)
