Roster yellow Spider-Man *** or black Kate Bishop ****?

I hate Spidey but I'm currently 166ing him bc he's my last 3 star to champ (save Sentry who I sold maxed a long time ago).

But I think DJP finds him useful?

I'm 166ing him too. He's not amazing but I have the covers, and I need a blue/purple guy.

kate bishop in my opinion. neither are great characters but kate's got damage.

Spidey is great at slowing down the other team, which is of limited use in a game that rewards accelerating your own team. Kate is a better choice.

166d Spidey today, need the champ iso now which'll be tomorrow. But then I'm finished with the 3 stars, finally.

Next, gonna max both the Jean Grays.

BTW: if we can get the blue Prof X in the Ultron tourney I'd be super happy, that'd give me 5-1-1 & then I can do Charlie's Angels for real. I'll continue to go to the hilt, but if we can all play I think we can finish round 6, which is all we need for that cover.

my x is 1-0-1, and of course the purple cover is buried at the end... the one i need to win his stupid ddq 4* challenge whenever it comes up again :/

3* magneto drops a prof x blue at level 183.

ok this got brutal at level 6, kinda doubt we're gonna get the cover, but I will keep at it.

champed my spidey (yay another ant man cover) so now all iso is for 4 and 5 stars here on out.

it's nice having EVERY 3 STAR CHAMPED (except stupid sentry) in this ultron tourney, because every node wrecks me but my deep roster means I can keep throwing bodies up against them. we're the Red Army of MPQ now.

i haven't been having a ton of trouble beating ultron. i just did it again w/ hawkeye/magneto/thor combo. i've lost twice total. (and am currently #2 for score in the alliance <bragging>)

after buffs I beat the Crash of the Titans today with my 5-4-2 l185 Jean Gray, with 200 hp left. A 270 Moonstone is brutal.

with that Legendary token I drew a yellow Nick Fury, so 4-4-2 now.

last night my daily reward was a Legendary token (drew a Ghost Rider), I currently have 18 command points, and my daily reward today is 25 command points, so that's 2 more "classic" Legendary tokens. 4 Legendary draws in 2 days! I'm finally beginning to build a real 4 star roster.

you should update your gamependium thing because i just went thru and saw who's been updating ITT and you haven't for a year!

these mobile games really need a built-in "share your roster" function

you can click on your teammates rosters but the whole in-game roster reading system (incl yr own) is kind of a bag of turds

i mean you should be able to see them outside of the game on a website, not just in-game (though yeah, it's bad there too)

it's the same problem with padherder for puzzle and dragons, this should be just be part of the game considering the money they're making off these things - shouldn't rely on 3rd parties

Huh. I kind of stomped her with a l189 5-3-2 Jean on my first try with no buffs and close to 2K health left. Basically, I denied red and purple as much as I could and let her suck up all the black she wanted while stockpiling purple and green. She hit me with red once but since there were only 3-4 red tiles on the board whenever she cast it, I was able to able to absorb it; meanwhile I'd cast green at her, let her steal the tiles, then cast purple to clear them off. I managed to get enough purple to hit her 3 times which, along with my match damage and the 2 green casts, killed her. (I happened to rank #2 in DDQ today, curse you Beelzebub of The Struggle nd yr 4-1-5 lvl192 Jean)

I think what this all means is board composition is your friend.

Yeah I got wrecked the first two times without boosts bc she got mad cascades. I used the same denial strategy that you described but it didn't work out as well

I got lucky, then. My logic was that her black couldn't really hurt me as she was stealing my tiles and I grabbed enough purple that she never had the chance to cast it, so I was really only concerned with keeping red off of the board since that's her big nuke; as long as I could stay alive long enough to throw multiple purples at her, I'd be good, and only casting them after green meant and extra bump of dmg for me and a wasted power trigger for her.

Same strat but her abilities require so little AP that a couple bad cascades or even four in a rows and she can drop pain

yeah, it's more of a pain that it looks

Took ~7 tries with my 3/4/5 Jean, and I leveled her from 147 to 166 (hopefully that doesn't hobble my plans to max Iceman). In the end, I needed to add +100% match damage, and I got a red Elektra. :\

Drew my first Winter Soldier (a red)...and a green Jean Gray ! Now she's 5-4-3, can level her to 250 (and Beast gives the last green at 183, I have him at 169 I think).

My 5 star draws have been nearly nil (just a Cap) since the beginning

i had a weird, crazy run where I got four ***** caps in like a week. It was bizarre. Then again all my other fives are one carders.

i've really gotta stop opening packs when i don't have the spots for the covers. anyway, i've got 2 free spots. who do u guys like out of these:

i'm guessing it's gotta be 2 of the 4* covers but not sure which two.

Pro Moon Knight: I've read that he's gangbusters at high levels.
Con MK: His powers are butt-random.

Pro Invisible Woman: if that cover of hers is yellow, you have a chance of beating her DDQ 4* node.
Con IW: You'll never use her otherwise.

Pro Wolverine: His black at 5 covers is a nuke.
Con XFW: He used to be the best 4*, now he's middle-of-the-pack (praising with faint damnation).

So now i got 23 three stars champed and all of the two stars.
I guess i will keep grinding until all the three stars are champed.

during the last event, quicksilver and invisible woman were boosted, and i must say that is a pretty fun combo. her force bubbles count as the "same" as his... blur bubbles? so you can make 2-3 blue matches, get 7 blue AP, wait until there's another blue you can make (be it regularly or via quicksilver's black power, as long as you have 5 black AP), pop her blue power, bubble up 3 team-up tiles, and then make the blue switch and hit his supersonic. You can do this shockingly quickly with the two of them.
