Civil War starts soon. From what I read you have two branching paths to choice, but points accumulated only go to one team or the other (Cap or Iron Man). Since the event runs twice, should we focus on Cap for the first time and Iron Man the second? (Especially since Winter Soldier will be available first, and War Machine later).

I beat the 4*DDQ with Miles at 2/0/0 and got a Phoenix purple. Later today I got another Phoenix purple from CP. 2/4/5.

My season 10-pack was rocket & groot and 9 2*s.

I haven't gotten a 10-pack in months... too focused on PVE

New character releases every 2 weeks make me wonder if this is some kind of last gasp to wring out as much money from players before the plug is pulled.

What? Nah they always pump out new characters when movies come out - they just scheduled it correctly this time. It would been better if Hulkbuster/Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver/Vision all came out when Avengers 2 did, for instance

Iron Man 46 looks great. Cap 1 and Winter Soldier don't.

Nothing is as frustrating as having a 0/5/1 Iceman and pulling a blue cover from legendary tokens

did the 0 -> 2000 thing in the shield sim yesterday to get the 4 star pun. I wish all pvps were like as doable as that, which is to say: I wish they wouldn't buff any of the good 4 stars in pvp.

most of the battles were for 75 points so not that long? I played periodically over the course of the day. didn't have to heal much because I ran Silver Surfer and Xforce so heals galore and I just swapped whoever for purple: Kamela Khan, Iron Fist, Doom, Gray Suit, etc., lotsa possibilities. lost about 2-300 in retals overnight but still ended top 50 in season in my bracket despite my lame pvp scores all season. got a ten pack, mostly 2 stars and no 4 stars, so whatever.

my starlord now is at 4-2-5 and he is...not that bad?

Cabbage = phone autocorrect for Carnage.

As I understand the event, you can pick either team, but points count for only one side, so everyone should sign up for the same one (and you can switch if you picked the wrong one first).

btw I know everyone is all about Jeanbuster and that totally makes sense but, with an underleveled Hulkbuster, I decided to try IM40/4Jean/Iceman instead and holy shit, esp when Iceman is buffed

Iceman with 5 blue = lol u dead; Jean's AOEs and IM40's red nuke are gravy, particularly since all of them are fueled by IM40's Overcharge now

You can pretty much run anyone in Balance of Power and survive, as long as your colors are covered. That's what makes it great!

I keep getting smoked, can't even get above 100 points, in balance of power. I HATE that pvp.

just skip the matches with 4*s ;) you can even run Juggernaut in this PvP! I should try Classic Spidey, come to think of it...

it's ok, this pve is actually fun for once! 5 star iron man is a PAIN, his yellow is annoying. I haven't come close to losing to him yet, but he's draining health. it's been going better since I committed to Silver Surfer, Luke Cage, and Scarlett Witch, prioritizing yellow, then red and blue.

Re: Balance of Power, if you can respec KK to 5 yellow, you don't need to use health packs for a while, esp if you include a good battery like IM40

At level 450 his yellow match does 1800 damage.

BTW, Marvel, hulk, ghost rider, and stockpile black to cast penance stare as often as possible. And bring in doom and/ or fist team ups, with an Ares green for when Hulkdies.
