Championed him, Legendary was a purple 4* Jean (yippee!). Also made the progression for the Hulk PVE, pulled a red Ghost Rider. My lol.xls indicates that I am now 2/32+ in pulling 5* covers.

I also accidentally sold a 2* Storm cover today -- she's sitting at 126 (i.e. her next champion level results in a 3* cover). :(

Great thing about the IM40 buff is that I've been running KK now at 5/3/5 with LCap -- you had 5 purple before to power her green, but since IM40 is supplying that, why not get extra healing from your power spam now too?

Just played a goon node with IM40/Patch/Daredevil (unfair!), very curious to see how this team fares against nastier enemies.

I got a 14th IW cover and so I'm trying to max her... possibly a waste of ISO, I know. I don't even use her when she's boosted. Starting at level 219, I calculate that I have to put around 13k ISO into her every day for 2 weeks. It's 4 days in and I'm doing OK, already up to level 248.

Carnage (2/2/2, 127) vs. Doctorpus was a lot easier than I expected! In descending order of priority, match green (deny and power up your own), blue (deny), and red (power up your own). Load up on as much red and green as you can (I boosted +2 red/yellow, +2 green/black, +2 all) and then let loose on a single turn, and hopefully you'll take a big chunk of life out of Ock.

mine is at 2-0-4, which would be great since the passive power spams tiles that doc oc can manipulate, and this build creates none of those. but only level 103, and that's not enough hp to win. I've tried 12 times, got him down to 4000 several times, so I'm confident that with more hp I'd win it, but I don't have the iso.

I championed 2* Bullseye o.O because even though I had four Quicksilver covers, three of them were expiring in a couple days and my ISO was only halfway to 166ing him.

My IW is at level 270 and she'll be championed tomorrow.
Nick Fury is sitting at 5/2/5 with two covers I can't use in my inventory.
I got two more Phoenix covers, bringing her to 1/2/4. I might start leveling her.
I like most of the alternate covers. They should stick with the new Kamala.

my strategy of championing every single 2* and 3* in my roster has been really, really satisfying; it's very rare for me to hit a completely unusable cover right now

also I've FINALLY fully covered Kamala Khan so guess who my next priority after I finish championing Hulk and Colossus will be

Hulk is already at level cap and Colossus has a couple of covers in the wings that are going to expire unless I sell them. I'm running my priority list entirely based on what I've drawn and who is closest to level cap, otherwise I would have been dumping all of my ISO into SWitch/KK/Blade for the past month

(as an aside, I wish Hulk's damage output went up as his HP went down)

i champed doc doom and lazycap, working on im40 now. Then Power Man and Psylocke.
i'm scheduling based on deadpool daily delivery so that everybody who is cover maxed at 141 can be built out within 11 days of receiving a cover.
sadly, this process suggests i'll champ out my roster sometime in mid 2017

i kinda stopped championing 3*s, slowly building up my Lady Thor instead
though i did get two Mohawk Storms from the last PvE, i need 90k to max her... tempting nonetheless

Just worked out my champ schedule for the next ~40 days, I'm at a "nice" spot where I have 6 rares at 13 covers, and the ones below are at 11 so it'll take some doing to get them to "14," so they're not going to surprise me by jumping the line.

plus their ddqs are pretty evenly spaced out. Iron Fist cover 14 in 3 days!

also yesterday I finally replaced my oft-broken phone with a new one that is bigger. I can state with confidence that when you get a bigger phone, mpq looks bigger

I sold my level 144 2* Storm to get enough Iso to level up Thing for the 4*DDQ. Got another XFW, now level 273, sigh.

IW is champed. She gave me a green Iceman, now 5/4/3. Now that's a character.

Champed LazyCap. I was going to concentrate on leveling 4s and 5s but none are really competitive coverwise.

Beat the Thing node on my last try last night, got a red X-23!

Also covered all the 3*s after winning a Vision cover, and tbh he doesn't seem that bad in practice! He'll probably work really well with Cage and Fist.

it's too bad you can't do an alliance archive/trade and give your unwanted covers to someone else in the alliance

Current PVE helped realize the fun of Mystique/CStorm/IM40. IM40 powers stuns in two different colors, plus a black hammer. Not the fastest, though.

I was really enjoying IM40/FatCap/IF as an escalating sledgehammer team but IF takes way too much damage

Yeah IF kind of has to pair with his BFF for sustainability.

btw I let everyone get under my skin and instead of championing Colossus, I sold all of the outstanding covers I had so I could bring my 4/3/5 3* Cyke up to 105 in anticipation of finally getting that last cover

I mean I wasn't championing Sentry anytime soon so that didn't really hurt anything but I am a big fan of Fastball Special

Fastball Special is great but Cyke is a MUCH better investment

How badly do I want that red Nova? I've been hovering in the low to mid 1900s and keep getting dragged down by other opportunists.

Finally got my 14th SWitch, but I can't champion her yet because I've earmarked all my ISO to Captain Sam for tomorrow's DDQ4.

I finally cover maxed my Iron Fist, and have him to 161 now. probably the last 3 star I'll 166, but a big one: he's obv amazing.

I'm currently #1 in this stupid pve, which I'm only doing to see how hard it is to get the dumb legendary token. but if this holds up, I'll get 3 professor x covers, plus 3 black panther covers, a bunch of iso, some command points. & I drew a red hulk from one of its tokens already. it is...not super fun though. hate monster moonstone so much. it helps that I have a maxed xforce & model 40, both of whom are buffed. and loki. & my 4 star deadpool is decently covered and leveled.

model 40 is a beast now.

Use XFW with XFDP: cast XFDP purple, then XFW's black, and giggle. Team up with IM40 so that Deadpool can use his red more often.

Getting the legendary from this event isn't too hard IME, just need to average 10K per submission, and grinding the last sub can usually get you over the hump.

yup, i'm using that very XFW/XFDP/IM40 combo. but still too lazy to actually play hard enough to make any placement in anything lately

Took four tries to beat the battle of the Captains. Got a purple Teen Jean out of it. :D
