Marvel Puzzle Quest Support Group

Command Points are a new thing that we’re bringing in to provide a constant and relatively reliable way to progress in the game that players can directly see. These points are earned through pretty much everywhere in the game; Event rewards, certain nodes in story events, daily rewards—all over the place. Once a player has earned a few of them, they can turn in 25 of them for a pull at the Legendary Comic store, which is the one that provides 4 and 5* characters exclusively.

Anyone that has played from [October 26] till now will get a free few of them, one will be available from completing the Deadpool Daily Quest for that cycle, the Versus Event that weekend will reward another handful at 300 points, players that back up their save using our Facebook save system will get some, and everyone who has ever made a purchase until now to support our game will also snag some Command Points for themselves. So if you want a quick shot in the arm for your Command Point stock, get ready for the weekend!

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I like the sound of having another avenue to getting 4* covers.

ok good, was finding the 4-star grind a little tiresome, esp. when I have all the 3 stars save a few fully covered.

I don't get it. ISO is the soft currency, HP is the hard currency. Why do they need a third?

eh, it's not that unusual

i've seen it before (P&D added a second "soft" currency recently), but i still think it's a weird practice

if people aren't spending money on iso because lol and not spending money on hero points because they don't give you the 4* and 5* stuff you actually need, it kinda makes sense to introduce something new. Also means that you can continue growing even if you only play casually (i.e. not enough to get a bunch of leg tokens and top 10 finishes)

Apparently the Professor X vs. Carnage node is pretty easy if you have at least one purple... but I have 0 Professors X and only about 30 tacos. Should I cash them in for the remote chance that I can pull a Prof?

Yeah, I'm going to let this one pass by. Two cycles from now will feature Scarlet Witch, Magneto, BP, Vision, and QS -- all of which could use covers. Of course that means I might pull a Carnage!

haha. fwiw puzzle quest feels pretty chill compared to Contest of Champions.

Professor X fight (I had a purple) was maybe the most boring game I've ever played. Whittling down Carnage's 10k health 30-120 at a time, yeesh.

i got the ISO for 1300 in the SHIELD sim but not the yellow Cyclops for 1200. i got the check mark for it but no cover, nothing in my roster. tried restarting the app etc but nada. apparently he is lost in the savage land or something.

Actually it's two nodes that give command points -- the Kingpin as you mention, and also the final node.

ah, i've been too lazy to get to that. guess i'll be grinding PvE more!

uuurrrrgh. In the X-23 tourney, managed to grind all the way up to 998 points - with my boosted max Hulk and Luke Cage - to grab the X-23 card as a reward.... when suddenly all my retaliations came in, knocked me back down to 782 =(

No, that was just for the CP rollout (which also included a few other one-time CP rewards).

bah, had to the Kingpin node 8 times before I got my 25th CP. Blue Prof X so at least I have one of each of his now.

Pulled 5 3*s from my 10-pack!

Of which exactly 1 (black Psylocke) was usable!

3* Cyclops yellow (mine's 5/3/5, so no thanks)

it's been a non-internetty non-game-y month so I dunno if I'll hit the 10 pack this season

I opened 3 legendary tokens today -- I was saving them in case the 5* rate increased with the addition of Phoenix, which it didn't.

Iceman blue, now 0/2/1
Cyclops red, now 1/0/1
Silver Surfer black! second 5* token

also a 4* Deadpool black from some random token

Another yellow 4* Thor from the PVE Legendary Token, she's at 2/3/1 now (I'm in line to get another blue in a couple weeks from the Daily Rewards), so I think I'll have a chance the next time she comes up in the 4* DDQ.

Still no 5* pulls for me.

I'm at 1000 in the Simulator -- how easy would the slog to 2000 be before the end of the season?

So we all get a Command Point whenever somebody in the Alliance breaks and buys some HP/iso? Devious.

With less than an hour left in the Hunt PVE, I saw that I was about 12K from the Legendary progression, so I decided to give it a shot. Suffice it to say, I didn't come close -- I only earned about 4K -- but I did get an event token, and with it I pulled, DUN DUN DUN, Jean Gray! (Didn't get the command point from her essential node before time ran out, though.)

so I did get the legendary and pulled... blue hulkbuster :(

Wish I'd realized before last night that half the Ant-Man event nodes had HP rewards...

I think there are three nodes in the latest Heroic sub that have CPs.

the second-to-last node has CP, but not the last one, weirdly enough. So does the Nick Fury node
