Hit 800 so that I could get the R&G yellow, respec'ing them to 5/3/5. Damn, they're fun to play with. Shielded for now so that I can eat in peace, might try to push for 1000 after dinner.

Ugh fine I got to 867 before i shielded. I do love that Patch/Loki/HyperBeast combo

I went to 800, shielded, wanted to make a run for 1000 but fizzled, ended up outside the top 100 bleh. just don't have enough time, or the right time, to make pushes these days.

I just shielded at the right time - got 8+ successful retaliations within 30 minutes, definitely would've given up on the Top 100 by that point. Horrifed to see the same guy actually "retaliate" three times in that same period, but I guess the opponent pool becomes much smaller as you get towards the top

Opening all of my non-Taco tokens in the hopes of getting an Ares for the Simulator essential lolz.

Last three anniversary tokens I cashed have all resulted in 3* or better: purple Deadpool (yippy!), purple Bullseye (maxed already), yellow Ant-Man (1/1/1 now!).

Pulled a green Devil Dinosaur just now. All is right in the world.

High of the week: Anniversary token giving me my first X-Force Deadpool!
Low of the week: Getting knocked down from 800+ to 500 points in the Class of 2015 PVP, went from Top 25 to Top 300 by the time it ended. What also sucks - the overall Anniversary bracket doesn't accumulate all points like most of the monthly Seasons - only what you have when the PVP tourney ends - so those lost points are really gone

Simulator feels pretty useless this time around due to lack of blue/gold Cykes

Two DDs for me, one green so usable (2-2-5 now), my first Reed Richards, a useless Mohawk Storm, and I think that's all. Not bad.

Beat it with my 2/2/1 dinosaur! Boosted as much match damage as I could, tried to deny purple, green, and yellow in that order, bit and chomped when I could, wiggled my arms when a match 5 presented itself, and got very very lucky with some fortuitous cascades. Red Thing was my reward!

after boosting 100% I won with DD; got my second Silver Surfer! black this time

So apparently my game freezes when I try to load one of the galactic fights so that's cool

damn. i should have complained here first. i ended up wiping my save data and going through half of the tutorial just to get to the part where you cna hook up facebook again, assuming it was an issue w/ my data

Hulk's passive works too.

Aside from Classic Mags/XFW/Loki, I've cottoned onto OBW/MagNow/Hood: collect Mag's purple to feed OBW's blue, and when you get enough red, hit G with it. Nice double whammy is if I get enough of Hood's black, Mag's red is an immediate 3K of damage plus tile destruction.

gave a mighty chortle when I realized on top of the game's $14.99 price you need to buy DLC access ($3.99 each) to The Hulk and Deadpool "storylines"

in some ways that kind of underlined the weird futility of the game and sent me off playing it.

i have hood and panther heavy in my rotation, fwiw, but i only have a few maxed 3s

Classic Mags + Loki = cascade heaven, pair with yr favorite damage dealer to accelerate but you can get to a point where a Mags cascade feeds Loki enough ISO for him to trigger his cascade, which can give enough ISO to trigger a Mags cascade, rinse and repeat

Add in a strike tile generator like Patch or IF and a good board can let you get out with maybe 200-500 dmg on each of your characters

what's the best loki build for that? and cmags for that matter? i imagine it's cmags at 3/5/5, which i have and 166d too, but i am not thinking about how i can get my loki into this gonzo cascade party now.

i guess what i'm saying is teach me how to loki

my loki is at 5/3/2 now and i am guessing i want him at 3/5/5... bleh
