I had two covers before I pulled another later in the day, but at 2 covers it wasn't gonna happen (and it's a busy week so I couldn't go hard).

the introduction of the 5-stars and the lack of 4-stars on my team have chilled me on the game a bit - kind of glad that at least I can spend 10 minutes/day playing the Deadpool and get load up on 3* and 5k in points without putting too much time in.

^^ this. Also, putting iso into my only decent 4* (Invisible Woman, obv) has horribly skewed my pvp match up opponents.

In about 13 hours the Galactus event (Alliance PvE) starts, so get ready. Hopefully it's not more grueling than the Ultron one.

Well, it took a lot of time and stupidity, but I got the Legendary token! And with it, I pulled... a blue Invisible Woman!

It means that I'll be able to beat the DDQ 4* node in about three months a little more quickly now!

How's everyone fighting Galactus? I'm using OBW, Mohawk Storm and an under-covered She-Hulk. Wait until he sucks up AP then hit with Agressive Recon and Furious Charge; do lots of damage with Storm's black.

It also slows down his counters with OBW's blue and destroys some with She-Hulk's red.

Pissed I don't have a marvel girl cover....

In later Galactus nodes, ClassicMags/Loki/X-Force is the answer due to quick neverending cascades, plus X-Force's Recovery is a great offensive weapon since you aren't taking tons of damage

I had some early luck with Spidey/GSBW/XFWolvie but it ran out quick. Basically if I could get enough black early, I could win

They really design these events to kill your health packs

here's some obvious advice: don't send any characters to fight Galactus if you haven't used them on the mini-nodes yet

I've just been using x-force, kamela khan, and human torch. all are maxed so massively buffed. but I've only made it to round 2. I haven't lost to galactus yet though, maybe 10 battles or so? can't play this morning bleh.

Anyone try Hood yet? Is he able to steal AP?

People in the d3 forum are recommending XFW, Scarlet Witch, Iron Fist. Keep lots of blue on the board and go for Surgical Strike.

Hood can steal AP but he doesn't get many turns to do so before everyone is dead.

Not much working, thinking of just offering a 1*/2* team as a sacrifice to the big G.

I've discovered to my detriment that my strategy is 100% reliant on being able to suck up enough purple for Loki to fire off a couple of Illusions in the first two turns, otherwise oops

That XFW/Scarlet Witch/IF team works for me about half the time, so I'll take it

I usually end up beating him with a combination of Lazy Thor, GSBW and Hood. A lucky cascade or two and I'm all set.

I had better success with OBW + Shulk + damage teams. XFW black didn't do enough damage to kill Galactus.

yeah I don't get it anymore, he beats me in two or three turns, which doesn't give me close to enough ap to get off even one attack. bleh

They went easy with the Legendary token event today. One of the first 4*s released and the 3* she has the easiest time against. It still took me 3 tries with 4/3/1 Jane Thor.
