discovering that I could beat most of the non-ninja Big Enchilada waves with 2* BW/Storm/Cap Marvel has been a boon to my 3* teams

kind of fun to spam CM's team-up tile ability when the board is too spread out - two rounds clears out a lot of crap

I would love an event where you could have a reserve member like some of those wave nodes because most of my favorite comps right now don't have healing ability and it drives me crazy when things go south given that I got to this point on the backs of teams that could throw out emergency heals if my opponent got off a bad but not fatal attack

I hate this redesign that put the alliance button at the bottom left where your roster used to be. Don't fuck with your UI after everyone's gotten it locked into muscle memory!

They didn't up the resolution of their images so everything looks grainy and fug now. :(

166d my Loki today, had been sitting at 141 for months but I got tired of the retals when I used him

next: gonna finally 166 Gray Suit, mostly because her color combo is useful (e.g. with Daken and Cyclops)

Pulled a green Lazy Thor today from the vault, respecced him to 3/5/5! Now I can stop playing this horrible game!

Hah, went fishing anyway and got the blue Hood after 2 pulls. I saw the Hood cover but the game teased me by taking forever to reveal the color.

Powered up Modern Thor is such a steamroller. I wish Kamala Khan was higher than 2/2/2 level 76, her healing and green creation make him almost unstoppable.

buffed Psylocke is kind of terrifying

I love her

I kind of want to pair her with Doom so she can flood the board with attack tiles

Even her "useless" blue is sometimes a complete and utter lifesaver

btw I had a great match the other day. I was playing with xforce deadpool and rocket & groot (all maxed). xf & dp got downed, r/g down to < 2000...but I get a yellow match and so he's back at full. then I down their iron fist & cyclops, think it's just doom left. he's at ~7000, but the if tile is still knocking me down. eventually I'm down to 1 hp, and no yellow match in sight...but I have a deadly precision teamup that I use to engineer a yellow match, so r/g back to 7000! even then I only ended up winning with like 300 hp, but still, it was hilarious. & exactly why I 166d rocket & groot.

How is your R/G built?

5-4-4 right now: probably better at 5-3-5 or 5-5-3 but 5 yellow is the key for deflating hilarity

Opinions on best Blade build? Have him at 5/5/3 now - feel like his actives are better than his passive ability, which at level 5 gives you two strike tiles, though each with less power than the single strike tile at level 3.

Love my R+G at 5/3/5 - besides the lol heal ability, the blue attack tiles are really really good too. The green attack is OK but too random IMO (especially compared to Beast's). Would love to 166 him at some point.

my blade 166 is 3-5-5; black is too good an offensive color so I wanted to downplay it for him. & the more red strike tiles the better his purple is.

Yeah 5-3-5 r/g seems best, I'll respec when I get the cover

so far of the characters I've 166'd, the only one who has been underwhelming is The Hood, and that's largely because his awesome 5.7K nuke also ends the turn, which makes it less awesome, and his steal requires 9 tiles on the board in the critical color you care about, which has burned me in various matches

OTOH I feel like I'm going to have a hard time not running Loki, Psylocke, GSBW, Patch, Fat Thor, Colossus AND Beast once I get them leveled.

basically anyone who throws out special tiles is wind-up fodder for Falcon in my book, who is pretty much my favorite team member thanks to his yellow

I've had matches (usually gauntlets) with him where I've ended up with multiple 2K protect tiles on the board

yeah falcon lazy cap luke cage is ruling so hard in the pvp right; all at 290!

I've had unexpectedly terrible games playing against Beast or Shulkie.

She-Hulk or Squirrel Girl will be my next 166, after I finish Gray Suit (at ~150 now)

She-Hulk is the only character I can think of that the UI seems to be able to use better than I can ;_;
