PVPs give me retaliation anxiety.

Classic Storm's green has always been like that.

I'm not sure if the best color is green or black. Surgical Strike is probably the best active move in the game.

I kind of wish Modern Hawkeye was a three-star, although they would immediately nerf Speed Shot

Loki with 5 green gets you something like that: enemy drops a 4 in a row, a turn later you get tons of ap & blast away. he's like top 5 now ime

With his added green he's definitely one of the best support characters. Purple shakes up the board. Black gets rid of pesky tiles, and now green is great on defense for pvp. Such a fan. Wish I had some green covers though.

Pulled a red Patch yesterday -- should I respec him from 5/4/4 to 4/5/4? I've learned how to work with BR at 5 (still not 100% safe though), and TBTI is so expensive, I wonder how worthwhile it is to level that up?

tbti is expensive but is one of the best one shots there is. You just have to have the right guys with him. I like 3/5/5

I was 4-4-5 for a while, but a couple weeks ago I switched to 5-3-5. I pretty much never use his red.

why would you go 4-5-4? unless you don't have a fifth yellow. his healing is really the only thing good about him. green is ok but it'll f you up as much as not unless you have a loki at 5 black. I guess you can finish with the green but then you're waiting too long.

I'm disappointed that I'm at a conference all week and so can barely play when my team during the current pvp buff is l280 5-3-5 patch, l~270 5-3-5 loki, l290 5-3-5 torch, and l280 3-5-5 lthor + that loki +l290 5-5-3 laken. those teams are soooooo fun to play with, and I'm on the road, with iffy wifi, and this game kills my iphone battery on 3g

the reason I like three green is that you just wait to use it when you have an available match three purple. Also at three green it only makes three strike tiles which doesn't make everything go berserk with some cascades just murdering your guys.

I use 2* Cap with Hulk and IM40, but it's a really slow process (SSA only hits for ~670 per) if I don't use IM40's blue and red powers to take out the non-goons.

Yeah I was lucky in that my best 3* character by far was 3* Cap, who was 1/5/5 for me - so his red move does 3700 damage, and his blue move makes a 325 strength shield (plus a stun), and each returns 10 AP. So I just spend the first wave building up enough blue (and using OBW's purple move to get some more blues) to make 2 or 3 shields, and then just cruise the rest of the way slamming a red attack every 3 turns while taking 0 damage.

I can't remember now, did Cap's yellow protect tiles used to have the ability to overwrite enemy strike/attack/protect/countdown tiles?

don't think so

They do if for some reason you leveled yellow past 3.

yeah, if you upgrade all his abilities they let you overwrite more types

Good pulls for ISO. Already sold the XFW (I'm already at 4/1/4), thinking about selling both of the Patches -- still debating with myself how I should respec him from 5/4/4 with another red cover in the bank.

Barf @ the new match making that got my butt handed to me in my first human opponent which was XFW, DD.

I got one of my coworkers playing this game now, I feel so guilty.

my play has slowed down a lot b/c of "life" and the changes aren't promising. I'll miss xforce but the big downer is the emphasis on slower matches, since this is at "bottom" a toilet game and slow is boring.

you playing less MPQ is probably a boon to your real life lbrr here

prolly? never put in much besides toilet/short break time. but I missed a week a few weeks ago and then trying to get 700 pvp felt like a chore rather than a joy. my alliance seems to be begging to collapse too; it's a transitional time for the game.

Guy named Reagan Man attacked and beat me in the Kingpin event, you bet I'm going to retaliate.

Of course, since he had X Force at 270 and a max Iron Man 40, you bet I was boosted to my gills.

welp, i'm playing more "seriously" again and here's the list of characters I'm still missing entirely:

i FINALLY caved and paid for hero coins to free up more slots; i figured if i quit for a year i was never gonna make up enough to get them in game.

Sucka! Keep grinding those Deadpool tokens - you can only get one or two a day, but they'll get you 3*s and random Hero Point bonuses over time
