The whole thing looks like a weird hoax, just the fact that no physical copy has ever been seen is a bit suspect. It looks like exactly what would happen if you could somehow send a really terrible flash game back in time and put it onto a SNES cartridge in 1997.

speaking of game design for people who don't actually like to play games, i'm kind of surprised mortal kombat x didn't go the heavy rain route, where you initiate the fatality, then it's like "Press X!" and it freezes the torso, "hold L+R!!!" to wind-up your punch, and "TAP TRIANGLE!!!!" to shatter the frozen body in half or whatever.
