Covers for this week will be Beast (Blue), Psylocke (Red), Mystique (Purple), Falcon (Yellow) and Hulk (Green)

Maxed on the Psylocke and Hulk, but I'm entirely missing the Mystique, and the Falcon is welcome.

They are always the top covers of the 3* heroes available in the Taco Tokens, which are updated every 5 days.

Taco Tokens do give a chance to pull other colors from those 3* characters, as I got a red Shulkie from one.

I haven't gotten a 3 star from a taco token yet. got 250hp from one though!

I will max Mystique tonight. then I think I may turn to Deadpool? if they'll buff IW I have her cover maxed now so I'd go immediately to her, but as she is she's worse than Bagman

IW is expensive to use but can be great in certain contexts; I've had some devastating PvE matches with her/IM40/XForce

Two developments:

1. Hahahah I have figured out how to access my tablet account on my phone so much for normal human interactions now oh noes.
2. I pulled a Blade from a standard token! He's now an intimidating 2/2/0.

Feeling burned out. Thankfully the rewards from the Luke Cage PVP and Simulator PvE aren't useful for me so I can take a bit of a break, at least for a few days.

Same here. I think I'll just do the daily quest for a while.

tbh I have liked getting more covers. got my Cage to 5-1-4 now, think he's gonna be good.

i was implicating my own lethargy a bit, but honestly more towards those 10 people who deleted the app without quitting the alliance, taking up the spots. since they were given admin privileges, they can't be kicked. that annoys me more than you guys ditching, tbqh

like i am totally fine being in an alliance that doesn't do well in the leaderboards but if you're not even playing once a day for the daily bonus, it does feel kinda pointless being in it

I'm in an alliance that has a bunch of sister alliances linked together by meta-commanders, so that we can move people around to make sure everyone gets the covers they need. there are various reqs for pvp etc depending on the alliance. if any of you are interested I could try to hook you up: there's probably a place in one of the alliances for everyone who wants in. mine is full and has req of 700 pvp (we're a top 25ish alliance), one of the sister alliances has been top 5 lately, but we also have more casual ones. I'm not a commander thank goodness, managing all this seems super complicated but evidently people enjoy it.

i'd consider either option. if there's a casual alliance in there with enough spots (like 10-ish for the members still playing in ILX-Factor) let us know. by casual I mean between (playing once a day) to (maybe placing top 150 in the PVPs and PVEs).

reforming sounds fine, too, we could just have a one or two commanders this time around, I suppose. what does everyone else think?

i'm actually trying to take this game more casually anyway - i feel like this and P&D are really taking too much time at this point and the guilt of life's disappointment is creeping in

But I'm glad it's sort of jump-started new alliance discussions. I definitely consider myself a casual player and try to just do one match a day, but usually I end up placing top 100 or top 200 in PVEs and PVPs instead.

I'd be down for a new alliance. ILX-Calibur?

Two heroic tokens from the simulator subs, both 3*! Got my first Luke Cage, and then the color I was missing from Cyclops. :D

The power creep apparent in Iron Fist and the next 4* (who does 1200 damage whenever you use an ally's power) is kind of ridiculous.

yeah they'll nerf IF but not until people have bought the covers. Sentry is the model there: totally useless now (I sold mine when the deal was good), but dominated the meta for a while

also IF is really only ridic coupled with XF since he speeds up SS

Can also be ridic with Dr Doom

Also kind of love that IF buffs Luke Cage

They should have made Squirrel Girl a 5*

she dropped her nuts on me yesterday & took out a full health buffed three star. she's tough! I'm just annoyed I have 5 yellow for her since that's obviously her worst ability

The next 4*, Professor X, has been nerfed already. He still looks great.

The yellow passive did 1200 damage instead of the protect tile.

Well, GSBW rewards for the DD PVP and Hunt PVE (no way l have the energy to make Top 50 for Xavier) means more semi vacay for me

Rags gets a third ability that creates charged tiles (mine is STILL 5/0, though), while 4* Thor, MagNow, Mystique, and IF all get nerfed.

Can't have any characters competing with 4* Wolverine.

Iron Fist is still really good, and 4* Thor has a reasonable adjustment. The MNMags/Mystique team is gone.
