Survival mode is really fun IMO

Apparently the last mission of the X-Mansion sub-mission -- called "Black Hole" -- had a bug, where if you finished it once, it would automatically restart the match, with the same team you had plus the damage they incurred but no AP at all to start, and you'd fight till your team got wiped out. I thought it was by design at first -- SURVIVAL mode after all -- but apparently it was a bug that D3 have now fixed. Still, I was able to score a load of points from it at one time without incurring the stack/time thing.

Just got my 10-pack, and it was one yellow Spiderman and the rest were 2*.

i did like this event - def. geared towards higher level players, don't know what I would've done without my maxed GSBW and Spidey to get through those waves. also felt like I could take a breather every now and then and still end up in the top 150

doh! can't even use this Red Patch cover. oh well.

I used LazyCap, OBW and Mohawk Storm. I thought it was pretty easy, once I got rolling.

I was using Hulk, 2* Cap, and IM40. Race to get red/blues (or yellows) in the beginning, and over the course of the survival mode build up green to take out the blankety-blank Kishus and their stupid caltrops.

Daredevil was amazing for zapping those irritating attack tiles.

10-pack results: 1 Lady Thor, 1 3* Capt. Marvel, rest 2*s. Can't complain.
Kinda burnt out already - Simulator is too tough for me to grind

Euler, I vote Steve Rogers over DD, who still seems too situational. Lazy Cap is slow, but powerful once you get him rolling.

DD is definitely fun though, especially with the recent power changes ZAP ZAP

Yeah, DD needs to get lucky with the board, but Billy Club can be very useful.

DD + MagNow = rolling Billy Club tiles that slow the opponent to a crawl

More first world MPQ problems: getting a Green X-Force Wolverine card, can't use it because I'm maxed out on that color. Boohiss.

I spent money on this game today for the first time. I've been playing daily for 421 days; I figure the devs can enjoy a few beers on me for that. using the hp I'd been saving + what I got from the buy, I picked up two x-force covers, and now have him at 5-4-4, l253. he is a holy terror now: his green costs 8 and does like 4-5k plus gets you ap from the cascades. I'll be 270ing obv and hoping for another black cover soon, but already this is serious business.

maxed my hulk today too; now have 12 166'd 3 stars in addition to my mondo xforce. after xforce I guess I'll put something into steve rogers, or maybe blade after this pvp since I have him at 1-2-5 already and I'll get at least 2 covers from combined arms.

Yeah, I had a similar rationale for finally buying IAP for Puzzle and Dragons (about 520 days in) last week, which of course got me crappy draws. MPQ tends to burn me out and I come back sooner or later, so I'm sure I'll cave at some point.
What did you end up getting, a Heroic 10-pack?

no I just bought 2 xforce covers, a green and a black one. I don't like gambling on 10 packs. I got 5 heroics from placing top 100 in the season, and drew my usual bevy of 2 stars.

apparently doom is getting a third power? the new loki totally kills, wish I'd draw some green since I have him at 5-5 black-purple already.

After this Simulator event ends (current pace has me getting 1 Luke Cage cover), I'm going on another break.

So in the meantime, I got that yellow Patch, so now mine is 5/4/2.

yellow is his most crucial cover; mine's at 4-4-5 b/c I don't want 5 green (kills me as much as the enemy) but I fire red too infrequently to go 5 in it.

I agree, the autoheal is his best ability. but you should be teaming him up with someone like Daredevil, Loki, Falcon, etc. anyway to negate the drawbacks of the green attack - i'd still go 5/3/5 if given the chance

Mine's at 5 green because I've pulled 6 of them so far and I just wanted to level him up. It's definitely dangerous, but still useful. Bringing in Hulk is good because often when the enemy attacks it'll trigger Anger; I've also had a lot of fun pairing him up with OBW and getting the Espionage double-dip bonus damage (esp. when she matches away the purple tiles).

Doom's new passive should go well with Patch's green.

OMG just realized that, if you're lucky, Daredevil's Red trap tile can actually combo onto itself and damage each time its matched, pretty sick

Was happy to get a Squirrel Girl, but ugh The Hunt AGAIN.. it's just too many damn missions.

I hate the hunt. nice to get 8 hour refreshes though in pve

I got one purple squirrel girl and right now I'm annoyed at how many essential nodes in the hunt require me to use here, where with one cover she's useless. at least buffed her purple does 800 damage though.

Fortunately the animation on her purple skill is consistently hilarious. I want a cartoon "BOOOOOING" sound to go with it.

that 10-pack reward is def. the best/only incentive to keep me in the game much of the time

x-force wolvie is worth leveling at that point, i think, but you gotta get him over lvl 125-ish before you start seeing results

I have a level 152 1/2/4 XF Wolvie and he sucks.
