Buncha stuff on sale at Steam. Alien: Isolation for 50% off, etc

Delbert Gravy (kingfish), Saturday, 6 December 2014 20:47 (eleven years ago)

SimCity 2000 free. Origin :(

https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/free-games/on-the-house

poxy fülvous (abanana), Tuesday, 9 December 2014 19:24 (eleven years ago)

Fantastic! Thanks for tip.

Origin account still active from Tapped Out Simpson. Never forget, etc.

hyggeligt, Wednesday, 10 December 2014 20:24 (eleven years ago)

Oh man, I wonder if SimCopter still works

Delbert Gravy (kingfish), Thursday, 11 December 2014 01:00 (eleven years ago)

Antichamber a mere $2 at Humble Store. Still haven't played it.

Nhex, Tuesday, 16 December 2014 19:05 (eleven years ago)

btw this current "gems" thing in the Steam market seems like hooey, but I hope they keep the ability to turn gems back into booster packs after the sale. problem is I don't see myself getting 1000 gems or whatever to try it out by that point without just buying a bag of gems from the market...

Nhex, Tuesday, 16 December 2014 19:32 (eleven years ago)

antichamber still worth playing & i don't feel like i'd say that about some or most of the games i put on my coint and plick ballot

Winter sale time, obv. Tempted to buy Skyrim for £2.50 even though it won't play on my laptop and I'm too lazy to play any games on the desktop (yes that is how much of a casual gamer I am).

So if I vote for the community choice sale I get some virtual trading cards... except I can't claim them unless I become a higher level... and the best way to raise level is... by having more trading cards?

Good job!

club mate martyr (a passing spacecadet), Sunday, 21 December 2014 22:01 (eleven years ago)

Spin Tyres just under 7 quid. hmm

Drop soap, not bombs (Ste), Sunday, 21 December 2014 22:05 (eleven years ago)

NB despite having no real interest in the trading cards I'm still going on a spree of claiming games from the billion undownloaded Humble Bundles I've bought just to see if I can get my level up high enough, so I guess they've got me

club mate martyr (a passing spacecadet), Sunday, 21 December 2014 22:20 (eleven years ago)

i forgot that you even need a certain level to get trading cards
you probably own a bunch of games you can idle/play to get the card drops from - check your badges page

Nhex, Sunday, 21 December 2014 22:25 (eleven years ago)

Mordy, Friday, 6 February 2015 21:26 (eleven years ago)

Sniper Elite III is -70% this weekend, which is sort of tempting. Anyone willing to vouch for it?

JimD, Saturday, 7 February 2015 12:51 (eleven years ago)

Valkyria Chronicles I is half-off, so I grabbed that. I dig the HD remake, since I'm not going to play this on the PS3, and you can jack it up to 1080p and play the game with a XB1 controller.

Game v. much looks like what would have happened if WWII broken out in Miyazaki's Alt-Europe, like we're seeing the war stories of all the parents of Studio Ghibli principles a generation before the films are set.

Delbert Gravy (kingfish), Monday, 9 February 2015 05:45 (eleven years ago)

all of the wargames are bundled on steam for like $13. i'm sure i've asked this before -- anyone have experience w/ them? worth getting?

Mordy, Tuesday, 10 February 2015 21:29 (eleven years ago)

i feel like once i can beat the 3rd tutorial level for airland battle i'll be prepared to lead a real army

Mordy, Thursday, 12 February 2015 02:50 (eleven years ago)

it has been a while since humble bundle had a bundle i really wanted:
long live the queen, analogue: a hate story, go go nippon - beat the average for world end economica, hate plus, roommates deluxe, and hateful boyfriend at 8$ mark - all of them mac compatible except nippon

Mordy, Thursday, 12 February 2015 21:21 (eleven years ago)

that is really good!

Nhex, Thursday, 12 February 2015 21:23 (eleven years ago)

ok been wanting an excuse to get Analogue for ages plus i am a VN fan plus yeah why not

polyphonic, Wednesday, 27 May 2015 19:13 (eleven years ago)

Me and half the internet are very pissy about the nintendo humble bundle being region locked, but it's still worth jumping on if you're in the US and have a Wii U and/or 3ds.

JimD, Thursday, 28 May 2015 11:36 (eleven years ago)

I rarely bothered to redeem my Desura keys in bundles anymore...

Nhex, Friday, 5 June 2015 23:06 (eleven years ago)

Steam summer sale starts on the 11th thru 22nd
worth noting that there is a PC press conference at E3 on the 16th, interested to see if Valve have any sort of tie in with it
