Not for the last time am I confused at how these things can keep giving the games away. Does it not shaft the developers or is it good advertising.

indiegala is one of many bundle sites, like indieroyale, humble, bundlestars, etc.
basically for most of these indies which aren't making a ton of money, they sell a ton of keys to these sites to distribute in super cheap bundles, because making like $0.20 a key (times however many thousand) is better than nothing at all
some of it is a little grey market due to how steam keys float around, but don't worry about it haha

Okay - that does make sense about micropayments rather than nothing at all. I must look at bundlestars. It's a pity android isn't served all that well for games as I'd have phone to hand more often than laptop.

Do the Origin/Steam codes count as separate copies? Do the steam keys for EA games even work anymore? I wouldn't mind dipping back into some Burnout Paradise, but not if they make me do Origin...
