yeah i lost a good five hours to clicker heroes before i remembered what cookie clicker did to my brain and pulled myself away. but...i still bookmarked it and go back occasionally to spend my accumulated money.

i'm enjoying this puzzle game transmission, created by the science museum in london. the sound design in particular is really well-done.

okay, so i'm kind of embarrassed about this, but clicker heroes.
i'm on the eighth or ninth ascension now and am able to ascend once every two hours BUT now it requires regular supervision to move forward.
it's pretty fucking evil.

I've been playing clicky Heroes for a few days and I don't understand the whole ascension thing and when I am supposed to do it.

OK, honestly, I played Clicker Heroes actively until it lost my save file. I had tens of thousands of hero souls and I had ascended around 100 times. It is way too addictive. Quit now.

But if you don't, it's best to ascend the first time when you have 10 or more hero souls. The easiest way is to go to around level 140 and then buy over 14000 heroes total for 7 souls. With 10 souls, it will double your DPS on the next run.

I'm at level 139 and have uh 1 hero soul.

That's unlucky, you haven't found any primal bosses. Buy heroes. You get 1 soul for every 2000 heroes. If the boss on level 140 isn't primal (its name will start with Primal) don't bother beating it, just ascend.

Can't believe you guys got me playing Clicker Heroes when I'd already been incrementing/idling away with Adventure Capitalist. Too much idle, argh.

I'm just going to close this and let it run for like 23 years and then play. Imagine how different the world will be then!

But if you spend another 8 hours upgrading your heroes and THEN let it run for 23 years, you'd get twice as much gold!

Checked out Clicker Heroes, not sure if I understand: all you have to do is click away? First person clicker? That's it?

it scales, there are ascensions and summonings and special unlockables but yah, you just click a lot until you earn exponentially more difficult automatic clicking powers, gods, and bad puns (Refri Jerator)
