Purple?

They're worth it. I've gotten a Devil Dino and a Nick Fury token out of them. (Plus some junk.) Yeah, I'm playing again :( I will stop after the double ISO stops, hopefully.

Goddess Thor is playable in the lightning rounds, and she's great. Stunlocking returns, and you don't even have to level her.

D3 forums suggest using CMags with X-Force Wolvie. Use Mags's red following by XF's black to destroy two colors and get a ton of cascades, resulting in enough AP to destroy everything left.

But... the next hero is two-star Ms Marvel and after that it's probably four-star female Thor, which I won't win anyway, so I don't really need any more roster-space at the moment. And those anniversary tokens are just 50 HP a pop, and nearly always three star, so... Pull! Oh, Moonstone, nevermind. Pull! (wait, was that an extra 0? nah, can't be) Oh, Moonstone again... Two two-stars in a row, that's a first for these tokens. Oh, well, PULL!!! WAIT WHAT? 500 HP? THE PRIZE TEN-DOUBLED AFTER THE FIRST? I JUST SPEND 550 HP ON TWO MOONSTONE TOKENS? Oh well. I guess in a way that first token got me 50 HP and 500 iso, which really ain't that bad. But still...

I just updated, I'm tap-tap-tapping my way through the jillion alliance rewards right now. :\

Looking at the PvP opponents, a bunch of max 3*s, the reason I stopped playing rushed back to me.

Since when do we have 20 alliance members?

that was me before i quit the game -- burned my remaining HP to buy the slots, and opened it up since clearly ilx ranks weren't enough to fill it.

its amazing how productive i've been since i stopped, so i should really unbookmark this thread to stop getting tempted back.

No you don't want green maxed, it only lets you pop it at 5 rather than 6, but ow it's the same, no stronger.

I like the new system for tourneys where you get to pick starting/ending time, much more convenient. Too bad the first couple of tourneys have snoozy old prizes like 3* BW and IM.

Also that they're cranking out more characters lately, and more 2*s to collect even if they not gonna be used too often, like the 2* version of Ms. Marvel.

That end-time thing singlehandledly revived my interest. I was this close to deleting the game several times the last few weeks. Yadayadagodfatherquote.

just got my lazy daken to 153, only at 3-5-4 so I can't max him yet. thinking about maxing falcon next? he's so fun in the current pve, and running him with cheap tile generators like (in this pve) mohawk & psylocke, & pun & eventually lazy daken, is great. I like having a utility player in the team, like hood. I wish they'd give spidey an attack power instead of his dumb yellow b/c I'd max him right away if so. he's useful against annoyances like hulk.

thought his blue is no longer godlike, he's still a pretty solid utility player - his heal is still the strongest, and if you're judicious with the web tiles the purple defend tiles can be good

Yeah I have him at 3-5-5 bc those purples are mean, they even slow sentry

I've been having luck entering the tournaments with inconvenient ending times, whether or not I actually play up until the deadline: I just easily made it to #4 with no retaliatory frenzies towards the end. (I'll be throwing away the yellow IM40 I guess that's part of the reward.)

And prizes for the next PVP are Lazy Dakens -- which might make mine halfway usab... no, at 0/1/1, probably not.

If the daken prizes were purple then I'd get him to 5-5-3 with this, instead it'll be 3-5-5, bleh. still will 166 him at that (153 right now at 3-5-4)
