Huh, I wonder why they changed 1* Storm's Red Power to Yellow. Fun tourney though, forcing you to use a buffed 1*, 2* and 3*

yep, was a blast

got my bp to 161 today, that's my fourth maxed 3 star. next to max: torch & patch. my torch is 5-4-4, l141 so ready to go, and my patch is 5-3-4 but I should get a red cover in the current pve so I'll be able to max him next. the current pve is great with my maxed psylocke and buffed torch, plus my nick fury is buffed enough to make him worth using.

would it be a terrible idea to sell **** wolverine? i have limited slots, and it feels like it would almost be worthwhile to develop juggs or bullseye instead.

4*s are so rare and you'll plenty of Juggs and Bullseyes later. neither of those guys are long-term keepers anyway, Bullseye is practically worthless

I hate fighting bullseye b/c he slows me down but I always beat him. it'll be the same when he's on your team.

like storm better with yellow than red anyway, as red is such a common color.
hate not having a fury, since for the first time in forever there are nodes that i'm locked out of.

mainly though i'm pretty happy with my team, so as long as i pick up the occasional new three star i don't feel like i have anything to shoot for -- i've gotten way less obsessive about this game now.

Dreamed last night that I picked this up again and that when I did, it looked completely foreign to me.

missed a bunch of changes happening - hawkeye's crappy hiding power replaced with something actually good, normal daken given the third power that lazy daken got. c. mags powers changed/nerfed

The new PvE was so much fun. The last few battles felt really satisfying to win. And all of a sudden everyone is using X-Force Wolvie, so yeah.

Don't make me install this again.

My X-Force is now 2-3-5, can take him to 209. Also today I got three Sentry covers, so he's at 4-4-4. That's what I'm leveling now: he's easily the strongest character in the game.

I hesitate to ask this, but has the game mellowed to the point where I can pick it up for 20-30 minutes and put it down and not lose sleep about getting attacked while I have a life?

Not unless you make hero points to buy shields.

got yet another Sentry cover last night, so now 5-4-4. onto 166!

re. getting attacked: no, it hasn't mellowed. But if you can get to 600 points in a pvp then you're probably going to make top 100, which gets you a 3 star cover.

the long game is about iso-8, not covers, or really even hero points, so long as you're in a decent alliance, since your placement + alliance placement mean a couple hundred hero points each pvp tourney. I shielded a bunch in the Black Panther pvp b/c I valued the Sentry rewards a lot. I spent 375 hero points on shields I think? maybe 450? but I had 900 points and then I was getting attacked every few minutes despite running my buffed 249 Black Panther, 166 Hood and 166 Punisher. At the high ranks Sentry rules all.

I admit the current Anniversary bracket with Deadpool and Devil Dinosaur rewards and special tokens has motivated me to actually play again. Maybe this game is best if I just go into these spurts every few months when there are enough new cards out to entice me.

my devil dino is now 0-0-4 lol. he seems kinda crappy, dunno.

rumor is that a sentry nerf is on the way, which figures since mine is now 5-4-4 l140 & on the fast track to 166 (since the iso is a flowing this week)

He may be crappy, but the fact that he has a power to swing his useless arms around is awesome

I love how these Balance of Power-type tourneys ironically remove all balance from the game and let you beat just about every team with whatever you want

They're worth it. I've gotten a Devil Dino and a Nick Fury token out of them. (Plus some junk.) Yeah, I'm playing again :( I will stop after the double ISO stops, hopefully.

Goddess Thor is playable in the lightning rounds, and she's great. Stunlocking returns, and you don't even have to level her.

D3 forums suggest using CMags with X-Force Wolvie. Use Mags's red following by XF's black to destroy two colors and get a ton of cascades, resulting in enough AP to destroy everything left.
