Man, I REALLY need some *** covers for existing characters in my lineup. I have 30 slots, 140k iso, and not a single character I can level.

Kind of digging the true heal modification now. It seems like PvP rewards are now more attainable with less grinding.

Euler, can you let me know if your alliance gets another open slot? I'd feel bad about jumping off ILX-Factor, but it seems like half the people in the alliance aren't playing anyways.

I basically only play PvE now. IMO, Pvp sucks too much with the new healing.

If I can distribute dmg correctly, I can make an Ares/OBW pairing last a ridiculously long time:

- let Ares take about the same amount of dmg caused by Sunder
- OBW heal
- Sunder
- protect the yellow tile and try distributing dmg across OBW and the other character for three turns
- Ares heals back up to almost full

rinse, repeat

Also I can't believe I spent so much time avoiding Ares' green because it granted green to the opposing team.

Ares is the best two star

he really is, that green attack is devastating as long as you aren't dumb about it

I like using it against hulk. On the desert board.

Yes/no, they stretched out the levels so there would be more granularity between players in PVP, but the amount of iso to max out is the same.

this new pvp is nuts. hope it isn't swamped with juggos.

I like it, it's pretty dumb. Regular Daken + Astonishing Wolvie + Venom Team = why not

I actually opened this app yesterday but when it said I needed to upgrade I closed it, whew dodged a bullet.

randos are randos i was tired of having empty slots so just made the alliance un-private so we'd get some new blood.

For this pvp I put up a jugs/hulk/ares team and hope for the best.

I hate to admit it, but I think the healing changes - or my lack of recent playing - has made things a lot easier, I actually placed Top 25 in the Psylocke tourney and should be able to make Top 200 to get the Ms. Marvel card in the current PvE. It's been months since I could do that without playing for hours each day.

the level playing field tournament was genius and made me sad that I'd deleted a ton of 1-star characters

I hate this game now. I'm not even logging in every day. I spend probably 20 minutes a week on it. Almost cured!

Hmm. Making it official they're going to move on from the Dark Reign storyline. Deadpool day on the first.
More concerned about adding a 7th color for "team up attacks"; this could change the existing game in bad ways; at the very least, slow everything down even more. Every character that has something based on "x color tiles on the board", like The Hood, Falcon, or Wolverine, are immediately weakened.

why? there seem to be considerably fewer team up tiles per board than there were environmental tiles

Almost cured of pneumonia, and I think it's safe to say I'm completely cured of MPQ -- barely tempted to play this while I was recovering.

Oh... did they just swap out environmental tile powers for team-up tile powers?

your loss! maxed my third three-star this week, Psylocke. pumped about the BP buff b/c mine's 5-4-4 l146 so I can max him too. better than Pun now imo

I'm guessing this Deadpool event was a big success; I did every single mission at least once, and ended up #359 in my pool of 500, very fierce competition. Also the rewards progression was very reasonable, I'm sure most people got the two Hood cards out of it.

IMO every event should run like the Deadpool event

got two Hoods out of the Deadpool tourney, then three Hoods out of the Thor tourney, and bought another with hero points; now my Hood is 5-3-5, on the verge of being useful (only level 80 or so, so lots to go there; but mostly need 2 more blue covers)

no Deadpools though, not even from my alliance, bleh

got my ten pack today from season 4, ten two stars, so again blah but at this point I really just need like 500,000 ISO-8 more than anything. I've maxed Pun, IM40, and Psylocke, and have BP at 150 (5-3-4) so can max him too.

yeah hood blues are a bear to come by. need some grinding for my 10 pack still. been playing way less, only up to 300 or so in tourneys, settling at best for top 100, closer to top 125.

something like deadpool is still fun, but my 3* collection is close enough that i don't feel any special urgency these days.

I have a playable patch now but I don't really know how to use him; berserker rage at 5 means lots of strike tiles for me AND the enemy and shit gets wild quick.

Berserker rage goes great with cheap attacks like Cmags's red. Only use it when you there's purple tiles on the board you can match away, or when you can end a round.

What do you guys think of the cards replacing the environmental tiles? I kind of like it but I ran out of space for them really quick so I'm constantly struggling to use them before I beat my opponent, and then I have nowhere to put the new one.

right. that's why i like patch -- he encourages both tactical and fast play. you build up an arsenal, playing defensively, then toss out a berserker rage and just finish everything off at once.

alternately you can play with patch/hulk just for death-wish fun against overpowered opponents. toss out the rage, then match to put hulk in front, and as long as he doesn't go down, his black tiles will knock out the enemy team in a turn or so.

then there's the patch/loki combo. or patch/anyone who overwrites tiles. patch/falcon. now with team-ups you can also use patch/yelena's power.
