btw, since I never post anymore and this is the PS3 thread, my last year of gaming can be summed up by the following, which I noticed last night:

I logged 12 more hours on Mercenary Kings than I did on GTAV! That blows my mind.

Played Sleeping Dogs, got bored of it once I was fully levelled up and never beat it, as often happens. You're on the right track though dudes! Keep it up!

Oh wait actually the reason I stopped playing it was I kept getting stuck coming out of the ocean on these fucking idiot rockfaces that you can't scale and are like 10 minutes on foot in either direction.

If you're up to date with the Arkhams then it does sound like Watch Dogs is probably what you're after, unless you want to save that for next gen (which I'm leaning towards doing).

I hate Assassin's Creed. How come there is apparently no single period in all of history that people don't fucking blunder right into you when they see you walking toward them?

I am grudgingly leaning toward Watch Dogs (on PS4), which I fully expect to be another crappy Ubisoft game where I am forced to sit through 6 cumulative hours of unskippable cutscenes featuring a protagonist who looks and acts like some nerd in 1998's idea of a cool dude.

I ruined Skyrim for myself by grinding my character up to God Mode level, unfortunately. All other Elder Scrolls games are long done.

Dungeons Dogma looks cool but I think I want guns.

Is Wolfenstein actually good? Has anyone played it?

Wolfenstein is pretty awesome. Not much in the way of RPG elements but top notch fps combat. Plus you can play it stealthy or play it guns blazing whatever suits you at the moment.

The lead character is jewish, as are some NPCs, so the answer to your second question is no.

Thanks for the Wolfenstein rec, guys, it's awesome. The BFG-type weapon is surprisingly and disappointingly sucky (unless I haven't found it yet?), but everything else about this game is pretty awesome. Best shooter I've played in forever, and maybe the most satisfying stealth mode ever in an action game? Aside from the idiot enemy AI that disregards sentries disappearing from expected posts even on the highest difficulty levels, that is.

Oh, except Far Cry 3, I guess. Also the L1 lean is great and every FPS should rip it off from now on

I played the D&D games in the arcade back in the day. Not very good then. Perhaps the port is better, but if so it'd literally be one of the first.
