Just been randomly blowing 500 ISO on standard pulls. Gotten several 2 stars, which I don't need, but I have so much ISO, may be worth it to drop 20k or so. I'd be guaranteed to get at least 4000 ISO back if I got all 1 stars and sold it all back.

eh whyyy, it's so easy to get standard tokens in events/lightning rounds. i have 40-something just sitting in the corner, i try to leave some in the bank as they usually take some time to add the new characters in to the rotation

I get all those, but then I buy some , I have more. I'm just looking to turn the numbers over quicker so I can eventually land some more 3 stars.

Some people on D3 feel that the results from bought tokens are better than reward tokens, though I don't think they've gone as far as tracking their results.

I haven't pulled a gold star from a standard token in a long time now; for a while they were dropping a bunch. luck? or...something else?

3* pulls have only been 2.92% for me, so it's a long ass wait between gold stars

they require Lazy Daken for some of the Sentry missions. bah.

Feelin u on teh Lazy Daken Sentry missions, but at least the ever elusive green Ares seems within reach.

What's your sample size, Leee? I definitely got closer to the sheet values as my inputs went up; currently at 789 tokens.

319. About a hundred pulls ago, I was actually under 1% and then hit a bumper crop of 3* pulls, so yeah, the probabilities converge to ~1/40 in the long(er)-run.

NB I didn't start keeping track from the very beginning, so that may have skewed my "real" numbers.

I'm pretty sure they've tweaked drop rates in the last 6 months so it's probably not a very accurate collection for me anyway, since they added new cards every two weeks. I think they straight up said the rates had changed a week or so ago - interesting that for Heroic and other packs now they actually tell you the % drop rate for each card now, which is shockingly magnanimous for a F2P game

standard token drop rates def "seem" to have gone down; I've barely gotten anything but one stars recently, and it wasn't always like that

Agonising whether to shield in top 10 for the two Psylocke cover, because I'm pretty close to being able to buy a new slot for the Alliance.

Dropped out of the top 20 while I dithered, but some of the shields above me when I started thinking about it are out of the top 10 too zo it's irrelevant imo, people are grinding their way in. Will just play it till the end, since it finishes UK time.

Yeah, that was my plan to. Six pm DK-time. But there's a film I want to see. And just the fact that I slightly think 'hm, dilemma' makes me certain that I really have to go to the cinema. Otherwise it's all over...

never worth it to shield until 8hrs in i find, and typically 3.

early shielders tend to get passed up by the end anyway.

I'll probably shield this one but not until the end. reaaaaaaly want top 10 but what I really reaaaaaallly want is the black cover but our alliance doesn't have the power for that.

Beginning to think I should have shielded at 800 points - every time I take 5 minutes away I lose 40-odd points, struggling to stay top 50 now.

I am 25 away from being able to buy a new alliance slot if we need it btw.

With this new storyline, I'm wondering if we'll finally find out if the Void actually was an original biblical plague, or whatever that nonsense was about. Man, those Avengers books were bad...

Well, I got that wrong...

Saw I had dropped to 48 and saw 5 grinding players within 10 points. Unshielded with 2 minutes to go to play an easy fight against 2 mid 20s level 1 stars...

Made the first match then never played again as it destroyed lvl 85 Ares and OBW with cascades.

Ended up at 51. Arse.

I also betrayed the ILX alliance. joined another one so that my season 1 score got us a Nick Fury (reward pending) and a black Psylocke (which I REALLY wanted). player rank #202 in season 1.

I'm hurt.

felt less bad about the betrayal since it seems like ILXors are losing interest in this game. whereas for me it's a perfect game, esp since in just over a week I'll be leaving the country for a year+ so all my gaming will be mobile. & I've spent many recent summers playing match 3s, including PQ1 & PQ2.

The recent changes to the game have made it very hard for me to get top 50 in any of the pvp challenges with my ** guys, and the alliance isn't even getting top 200s. And the allure of leveling up my new Spiderman is suddenly less strong.

When they nerf Spider-Man that's gonna be a heavy blow. This might sound thin, but the game takes so long to load compared to other mobile games, that if I'm going to do only one or two battles it almost doesn't feel like it's worth opening the app; know what I mean?

Definitely sad about our alliance doing so crappy but what can you do...

Four heroic tokens out of season one, and there's not a single two-star character I couldn't improve! Hit three abilities I've already maxed (out of a possible five) and a bagman...

four heroic token, one gold, it's a green hulk which I've already maxed. damn

5 Heroic tokens got me 2 Lazy Thor covers I've already maxed out, plus 3 junk covers.

All my were stupid. All that grinding. FOR WHAT.

7 Heroic tokens at the end of season 1 - six 2*s, but I got my 5th Yellow Hood cover, so I guess that's.. something. He's 5/1/5 now

Pretty behind in the Sentry tournament, can't make any headway without Lazy Daken...

stunned by the betrayals! i care about rewards less than team ilx.

also pulled a yellow falcon lately and a daily reward put my panther at 4/3/4.

was well prepared for the spidey nerf (haven't been playing him lately anyway) but man when the mags nerf comes i have no idea what to do with my a team.

5 heroics got me my final green hulk. Rubbish apart from that.

Four heroics, got one useful Punisher cover. First 3-star cover I've pulled in what feels like months, other than solitary two-cover throwaways like the Human Torch.

Think the best way to improve placement is to wait till near the end and then sprint to the finish.
